Lovely fresh food in a relaxed space - Edit
We paid a spontaneous visit for Sunday lunch when taking my nonagenarian mother for a country drive. When I rang ahead, the cafe was very accommodating about the fact we didn't know when we'd arrive, which is just as well as we were later than we said.
After we ordered, the food took a little while to arrive. That time was probably needed to prepare and serve it, as everything looked and tasted fresh.. I loved my barley risotto although the portion was so generous that I couldn't finish it. I'm told the pot pie was also excellent and my mother's polenta salad and chips also went down well.
The cafe is in a pretty little high street and the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. The meal was extremely good value, especially compared with some of the vegan and vegetarian places in London.
I'd love to go back and might try to nip down on the train for one of their evening events.
Pros: All vegan, Delicious fresh food, Nice village amidst beautiful countryside
Cons: Can't think of any

Welcoming vegan cafe - Edit
Visited for a friends birthday on Saturday and had a great evening. The food is home style dishes done well and nicely presented without being pretentious. I chose the butternut squash, leek and mushroom pie with chips and shared a side of green veg. My friend had ordered a specially made a rich chocolate cake which was delicious and really good value. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Great to have a full vegan place locally - will be going back.
Pros: Fully vegan, Welcoming atmosphere, Great cake
Cons: Not a huge number of tables - consider booking for

Lovely Vegan Venue - Edit
Crazy Bean has a lovely, cosy atmosphere, and the food is brilliant. We had one of our East Surrey Vegans meetups here, and I've been back for a live music event. I can't wait to return on a normal day to sample some of the other dishes on the menu.
Pros: Great food, 100% vegan, Nice atmosphere
Cons: Occasionally a bit of a squeeze

Superb - Edit
This wonderful small cafe just became one on my favourite restaurants. The place looks very simple but pleasant and homelike. And you expect nice homestyle food. But the food is a masterpiece. Not only super delicious but also so nicely plated! It is really culinary art. We tried few mains, sides and starters and one salad and everything was perfect. Portions are quite small but not expensive so you can try a few meals for the price of one big portion. In general I love it and I am so happy that place like this opened outside London. If they were in London I am sure they would be very popular and had a lot of customers. But I am happy that they are here, where plenty of vegan people live and dream about nice place to visit in the evening. Thank you for a marvelous meal. I wish you good luck.
Pros: delicious and beautiful food, nice homelike atmosphere, friendly owners

Amazing food! - Edit
Had a three course meal with a couple of taster dishes. The food was superb, really tasty. The risotto balls were probably one of the nicest things I have ever eaten and I will probably daydream about them each time I'm hungry ;)
Their lunch menu looked amazing, and the dishes were really reasonably priced.
Pros: Excellent food, Lovely staff
Cons: Location for non-drivers (for me, anyway)

Highly recommended - Edit
Great food and friendly owners / staff in a pleasant location.
Especially enjoyed the mushroom parfait and the arancini balls. And the apple crumble!
We will be back - probably with non vegans.
Pros: Delicious vegan-only options, Friendly / attentive staff, Nice ambiance
Cons: A little quiet - needs more vegans!!

Best food we've ever had - Edit
We were curious to try out this new cafe as we had heard good things, but we hadn't quite set our expectations high enough. We both agreed that the wellington we had for lunch was probably the best food we've ever had. It was absolutely delicious, especially the hand made vegan sausage-meat inside. It was cooked to perfection and came accompanied with roasted root vegetables and red wine jus. We couldn't help but harp on about it to the chef, waitress and owner, who were very welcoming. Then we had an almond slice with vanilla soya ice cream, which was also lovely. The people there we very attentive, they cared what we thought of their food, and ultimately I can't think of enough good things to say about this place, so just go try it. You won't regret it.We're booked in for next Saturday's three course meal already. We can't wait!
Pros: Amazing food, wonderful staff
Cons: None

London and Home Counties Meetup - Edit
As I run London and Home Counties Meetup (meetup.com/lhcveg), I've now visited Krissi and Rob's cafe three times. It's early days and there's always room for improvement, but if they keep up the good work they deserve to be successful.
I've tried their sausage roll (homemade, not Linda McCartney as sometimes used), creamy mushroom pasta, curry with flat bread, and stuffed aubergine with lentils, as well as their lovely moist brownie, a few almond cupcake crumbs (kids' leftovers), and a hot chocolate.
Happy to report that everything was scrumptious and good value, and well deserving of their 'Excellent Reviews on Happy Cow' window sticker I presented them with :-) (Thanks for that Eric)

Pros: Only 'true' vegan restaurant in Surrey, Passionate owners, Good food and value
Cons: Need to have proper menus, Blackboard should just be for specials, Not all pricing displayed

Vegan Cafe in Bookham - Edit
I have been to Crazy Bean a few times now, once to their supper club and twice for lunch. On each visit I have tried something different from the menu, and have not been disappointed. The food is tasty and well presented, and the service is friendly. It is great to be able to eat without worrying what's in the food! It was also nice to get a soya latte when I had lunch there... I've never had a soya latte in Bookham before :-)

Unbelievable Quality // Great Staff // Best Food in the World! - Edit
It's always pretty hard finding a good vegan restaurant, and makes a huge change finding somewhere where I could actually have EVERYTHING on the menu. Their carbonara may well be the best pasta dish I've EVER had at any restaurant- even before I became vegan! Great prices and really friendly staff. The chocolate brownie and vanilla ice cream also rock. Will definitely be back within the next few days!
Pros: Excellent Food that's all vegan, incredible value, friendly staff
Cons: not that many tables!
