Dayton is largely a vegan wasteland. It’s like going back in time….to the 90’s. So, to find a coffee place that actually Carrie’s some vegan items, it’s pretty nice and worth giving them the business.

Pumpkin bar is vegan and gluten free and wasn’t too sweet like typical American desserts. Coffee was smooth and they have multiple plant-based milk options. Staff was so friendly and knowledgeable!

Great spot to enjoy a cup of ethically sourced coffee and a vegan treat. Love that I was able to sit inside and drink my lavender iced latte w/ oat milk out of a glass instead of a plastic cup. When I want my iced latte to go, I bring in my reusable cup. The cafe offers oat, almond, and macadamia nut milk for .90. The menu appears to be vegetarian with the exception of occasional rice crisp bars that contain gelatin. The bagels (plain and blueberry) are vegan. Vegan gluten-free bakery items (cake, cookies, muffins) are also available. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciate the focus on sustainability, so when I am in the Dayton area, I skip the coffee chains and get my coffee fix at ContempoRoast.

Such a great addition to Centerville!! We were in need of a great neighborhood coffee shop, and this is it.🥰 Friendliest staff, yummy coffee, a good selection of vegan/ GF treats from Chubby Bunny, focus on sustainability, a large bright airy sit-down space, Wi-Fi to get work done. Couldn’t ask for more!!
