Lovely little gem in the heart of South Norwood

As a new South Norwood Local I am so happy to have this little vegetarian cafe with many vegan options on their menu. I like the small zero waste area at the back.

Pros: Friendly staff, Good vegan options, Zero waste ingredient section

Sad to report that, like so many eateries, they're closing; last day is Sunday 26th January 2025 (see my photos for info) :-(

Cosy, friendly space, now all vegan menu

So glad I finally got to this place! Currently the food menu is via pop-up Vee Tings, all vegan. Weekend brunch menu includes smoothie and nourish bowls, pancakes and carrot 'salmon' bagel. Wide range of teas, coffees and hot chocolate. Small selection of wholefood cupboard staples for sale and a refill section for herbs, spices, grains etc. Small space, buzzing on a Saturday afternoon.

Pros: Currently all vegan, Warm, friendly welcome

Just… lovely

🤤Loved the food! Loved the staff! Loved the (LOOSE LEAF) Tea, Loved the Cakes, really Loved “pay it forward wall” loved the ethos, loved the music (Not Too Loud), Loved the simple decor, even loved the “tiny toilet”.

Got to try a chickpea pancake out of the generosity of the… owner??? Unbelievably lovely!🤗

Pros: The Food, Loose leaf tea, The Pay it forward wall!

Cons: Nothing, Nothing, Nothing

Comfort food

The two people that run this place are so lovely and welcoming.

I love the vegan fried breakfast on the weekends. The lentil soup is so homely. The wraps yummy

Pros: Lots of options

Cons: Can only treat myself near payday

My favourite place in South Norwood

I’m so happy this cafe has arrived in South Norwood, I’m a vegan and have found it difficult to find anything locally for eating out. So this has now become my second home where I can eat most of the things on the menu, hooray! My favourites are the aptly named ‘good sandwich’ and lentil salad. I’ve also had the bagels and the vegan cake. The coffee is pretty good too and they have a huge selection of yogi teas. I love coming here to do some work on my laptop or to get a takeaway on my way home. The prices are very reasonable too - for a main its only £4.50
and bagels are about £2.50

Pros: Very tasty vegan food, Comfortable cosy space, Nice background music

Cons: A small toilet , Wish they had a bigger menu, Open from 8am-6pm not in the evening
