Low-profile, basic and authentic Mexican comedor in downtown that serves mostly vegan menus during daytime. You can choose between some salads, soups and main dishes - mainly Mexican comida corrida prepared with soy or tofu and a dessert. Offers fresh juices. Authentic atmosphere. We are moving!

Hello, my name is Inari, I am daughter of Elia. Due to COVID-19 impact on our lives our beloved restaurant had to shut down, however Elia still will be cooking for us at the restaurant "La Victoria" at Francisco Díaz Covarrubias 83, San Rafael, Cuauhtémoc, 06470 Ciudad de México, CDMX, México. For those who doesn't know the history, La Victoria was her first restaurant and has been opened for more than 40 years. Thank you very much for your support, please feel free to call and ask 5555668739 or via WhatsApp 5539213409

Fresh, authentic, simple

I could chose between two options.
Salad, soup, main dish, dessert, tea and juice for 80 pesos.

Tasty but simple and not much choice.

Pros: Fresh

Cons: Not much choice

Rico y barato

Rica comida corrida de tres tiempos más postre y té digestivo por $65. Saben bien la diferencia entre vegetariano y vegano y los platos que son vegetarianos los pueden hacer veganos
Recomendable!

Super tasty 3 course set meal plus dessert and digestive tea for $65. They might understand English but they do understand the difference between vegetarian and vegan and vegetarian dishes can be made vegan.
Must go for good Mexican vegan food!

delicious cheap food and really nice helpful staff :)

I was offered vegetarian or vegan. Chose the soy croquettes, they were really nice. It was great to have some Mexican vego cuisine! 4 courses and a tea!

home away from home! the name Should be Mamá Eli 🙏

one of my favourite places in DF. the atmosphere is simple and fresh, cosy. but the best is the owner!! doña Eli is a long time vegetarian, following a family business running a vegetarian restaurant. She offers set menus, with so much love and care her food is Nourishing your body, mind and soul. The ladies in the kitchen are so sweet and they will adjust the dishes if you want / need. They use good quality ingredients and the food is really yummy!! I had lunch there 3 days Straight as it was not easy to find such a place in downtown!! the price is more than affordable, you get a full menu and great advice for what to look out for while in town. Thank you so much for being my adoptive family in DF. I appreciate the love you give to the world through your work!

Pros: affordable, menu changes every day, very health co

off the beaten path comedor

This is a low-key, nearly invisible little neighborhood spot in an area where few visitors wind up.

It's a pretty standard naturista-style comedor with a set meal of the day, simple but healthy, and inexpensive.

Unlike some similar spots, their menu runs until closing time at 6, so it's possible to stop by for a late lunch. Worth it for the local atmosphere and interesting area.

Note: the food is pretty mild by design, but you can ask for their picante and get some insanely spicy chiles/rajes.

Pros: cheap, healthy, friendly

Cons: not much selection, pretty mild stuff
