very cheap Nicaraguan food - Edit
For 80 C$ you get to choose different vegan options (gallo pinto, rice, vegetables, soy meat...). The portion size is big enough, the food tasted good. The woman working there is super nice, we even got free water. For 2,17 $ for solid Nicaraguan food, this place is an absolute no-brainer.

Go there! - Edit
There is a buffet with rice, gallo pinto, beans, vegetables, tortillas and even vegetables with soy meat. A normal portion costs C$80 which is super cheap but you can also take a bigger portion for a bit more. Tap water is for free but you can also buy a bottle. The staff there is really nice and the food delicious!!

lovely staff and delicious food - Edit
The food is great and cheap, and the portion is huge. The soy meat dish is wonderful and is way better with gallo pinto. The ladies are so nice and helpful.

Very cheap big plates - Edit
The owner was clear about the vegetarian options being dairy and egg free, you get a massive plate of food for 80 cordobas each. Make sure you ask to get it heated thoroughly in the microwave. Cash only. Appears to be lunchtime only too. We went back 3 times for a cheap easy lunch.

Salty traditional food - Edit
They have a buffet style where you get a huge plate of different dishes. We had rice&beans, soy meat, pasta and a tortilla all for only 85. The food was very salty but a good option for the price.

5 stars. Tasty vegan options, unreal price - Edit
I would give 5 stars if I could, but Happy Cow doesn’t let you give 5 unless a business is fully vegan or vegetarian.
Read moreThis place is great! They have plenty of vegan options including soy meat and are knowledgeable about them. The best part is the price. I asked for “a little bit of everything vegan” and a bottle of Coke—my plate was enough to fully feed 2 people, all for a total cost of 140 Cordobas (~3.83 USD at the time of writing). Wild!

Cheap tipical vegan food! - Edit
I The lunchbars (vegetarian and meat) are seperated and today all the vegetarian options were vegan aswell! The food was super good and they always have vegan options as well but maybe not all of them.😄For one portion (which was pretty large!) I paid 80 (2euro) cordobas. A true gem - 10/10.

5 stars - Edit
Finding cheap vegan food in Nicaragua hasn't been as easy as I thought. Often cheap restaurants don't even offer rice and beans as a dish without a side of meat. So when I found this restaurant I was really happy. It has several vegan options including soy meat. That means with the soy meat and the delicious beans on my plate I had 2 types of protein on my plate. They give you a huge portion and that for only 80 Cordobas. It's a 100 if you order a drink additionally.
