They gave me lactose free milk?!?🤮

I finally found a vegan place open as I arrived during a public holiday. I knew that this place had vegan hot drinks and one food option based on Happy Cow so came here. Just to be sure, I pulled my V card explaining that I was vegan and was told all hot drinks were vegan. Ok so ordered a cappuccino. I asked about avo bagel and was told they didn’t have any. Seriously?! Arriving during a public holiday to find all the vegan restaurants I wanted to visit closed has been beyond frustrating. I leaned over the counter and saw a bowl of avos and said I wanted that on a bagel with veggies. Don’t know why they said no as didn’t quite understand something about didn’t have a sauce? Drank cappuccino and didn’t think anything of it until brought my dishes over and saw two cartons of lactose free milk! I asked if they had given that to me as I had clearly said and showed them the V card that I was vegan. They said yes that they had run out of plant based milk. Are you kidding me? That is SO wrong and told them.
The panini with avo and veg was fine but to give a vegan dairy milk after explicitly saying and showing was vegan and to be served dairy milk is so wrong hence the one star. I would give them nothing if I could.

Great coffee and tea

Had both a latte and matcha latte. Both were very good. Both time vegan bagel sandwich was not available so just plan for great drinks.

Hands down best latte in town

Soy and coconut milk. Good coffee, good baristas
