Had the Billy Beans, made vegan. This came with mushrooms instead of the eggs and bacon, would’ve been nice to have maybe a vegan meat substitute option. However it was really tasty and huge portion.
There' usually people waiting in a queue to get inside, so we thought it was for a good reason and went to check the place out. We ordered a coffee and a vegan chocolate cake, both of which were delicious. The cake was so filling I was struggling to finish it.
However, the cafe is also very small and the tables are cramped very close to each other, so you feel like you're sharing the table with the people around you. With the place being so crowded, I couldn't make out any words my partner was saying, as I could only hear the louder speaking people seated by the neighbouring table. For this reason I'll rather stick to a different cafe in town, which offers a bit more privacy and less acoustic noise.
5 stars - best place for brunch or coffee and a cake! - Edit
Would give a 5 star review if I could - this is by far one of the best places for brunch or coffee and a cake in Leamington. You often have to queue outside but the wait is worth it!
Very inclusive and perfect for those with dietary requirements or allergies, e.g. gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, egg-free etc. Food is always made to order so the menu choices can be easily adapted.
The portions are fairly large but good value for money. The coffee is great and a variety of plant milks are on offer.
I queued out the door for 15 minutes to get into this place ... Saturday lunch time. What a fantastic menu! The Billy Beans dish was amazing!! I was so full of the best, fibrous and most tasty food ever, for like 8 quid!
Great food, presented beautifully! The vegan version of the avocado smash with beans was delicious! Great vegan cakes too, as long as you don’t leave it too late in the day. Vegan mills available too.!
Very chill cafe with friendly staff and lovely decor! (think lots of plants and lamps). Vegan options are good- when you ask for a veganised option they dont just take the un-vegan items out but replace them with vegan ingredients e.g vegan cheese instead of cheese. Food options change every day and tend to be very creative and well presented. Only downsides are the queues outside & that it can be a bit spenny.
