Best tacos I've had so far - Edit
The pink tacos were amazing. I've had other mushroom based tacos in Mexico, and these are by far the best I've had. Served in a beautiful way in an oasis garden. Also I had the Chilate which was refreshing. 60pesos for 2 tacos which is so good in PE.

Had an amazing brunch there! We had the red and the green tacos and mushroom soup and The hibiscus drink. Came with a side salad. All the ingredients were so so fresh and generous portions. Great pricing too! Bring pesos.

Sweet tacos with apples isn’t something I was expecting, but it works! It’s like eating a fresh sweet salad except in a tortilla, so no complaints. I do wish they had one bit more conventional taco that was more on salty/savory/spicy side of things, but I guess they’re really going for that citrusy light healthy vibe.

CocoFam is a unique place where you can fully dive into Mexican culture and food. Their selection of home made drinks is amazing and the food is very authentic and delicious. You will use mexican plates, cups and bowls, it feels so special!! The owner is very friendly and polite, you feel welcome immediately.

Cocofam has very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The agua frescas are tasty and all the portions are massive! The tacos and tortas each come with a salad. Tacos are bigger than what you normally find in Mexico. Food was very fresh and filling. Taco Rosa was my favorite

What a surprise to find this gem! We were about to leave town after a hospital appointment and thought we’d check happycow and had no idea that we would leave puerto so satisfied and nourished! The mushroom soup was fantastic, with a sweet little salad and beautiful hand made tortillas and then we couldn’t resist trying a taco which came with its own big salad and guacamole. Oh and the cacao drink was incredible! We had a lovely chat with angel the owner as his kids and dog were playing in the yard. It felt so homely and welcoming. I would recommend this spot to everyone.

Best Vegan Restaurant in Puerto Escondido - Edit
This is best, and healthiest, vegan restaurant in Puerto Escondido. If you want vegan, be sure to inform the owner/waiter when you order. Some of the dishes include cheese. The food was great which was some of the healthiest (minimal oil and salt) vegan restaurant food I've ever had in Mexico. The drinks can also be prepared without extra added sugar! The service was also outstanding with a very friendly family dog. During my visit to PE, I visited twice and look forward to visiting again in the future.

This spot exceeded my expectations. Delicious and fresh tacos with fresh WFPB ingredients like very tasty mushrooms al pastor and very tasty and aromatic spinach and chard tacos. This is exactly the kind of food I love and the service was friendly and helpful. I think some items may have cheese so be sure to specify VEGAN.

Seating outdoors. Friendly staff, tasty food, moderately priced. Try the chilate drink, cacao rice; I had the taco rojo ( red, made with beetroot) comes with a bowl of food guacamole, filling and very tasty.

Can get busy just after opening at midday but plenty of space to chill out
If you're vegan, let them know; the bowl of food with the tacos came with cheese.
Also just found out that most home made cold drinks in town have sugar added; here you can ask for no sugar

they brought me food whilst I was in quarantine in the summer of 2020 and it was lovely and I appreciated the quality of their ingredients so much. there are a few vegan options and alternating them I was just dandy. lovely folks and great food.

The menu isn't big, but whatever they have is amazing. Homemade tortillas made from spinach or hibiscus, and the home made juices should not be missed. I just filled my belly and had tasty juice for under 100 pesos. Be back next week!!

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and are now in awe. A small menu but everything is delicious and there is only one meat option on the whole menu! Predominantly veggie😄Super affordable, super healthy, good quality food made with love by the kindest most gentle people. The drinks are only 15 pesos - cacao and rice milk, cucumber and lime, hibiscus and guava 😍 and the tortas are 50, and the most delicious tacos in the world are 45: a huge mound of veggies in a gluten free taco. Not sure if the menu changes seasonally but even if so I'm sure everything will be as yummy!
