Get the Kao Soi

Best Kao Soi. This place was quite popular under westerners, with Yoga classes seemingly streaming in after having finished, while having local vibes and prices

They have a free water station and a veggies box where you can get all the limes and pickles you want.

Great Kao Soi and nice service

Amazing vegan food! One of the best vegan kao soi I had in the trip for just 50tbh. The stock is flavorful and earthy, and it has a lot of different mock meats.
The food is also quite healthy and you can order food with no or little oil, but it is not oily by default.
The menu is quite extensive. I tried the grilled tempeh and tofu, different rice plates, the fried vegan pork, masaman curry… and all were at least 8/10.
Attention is very nice too and service is really fast. And they have free water too, which is not very usual!

Pros: Great cost/value, You can add more protein to your food, KAO SOI

Vegan Khaw soi

This restaurant has a lot of vegan dishes. I choose the Yellow curry fried rice, but it didn't have much taste, so I ordered the Vegab Khaw soi instead. This dish was delicious! 😋

Best food ever and so cheap

Everything hot I ate here was absolutely amazing, most delicious ever. I will come back again. The food is SO cheap and it's special that it's served hot and fresh. WOW.

This afternoon I bought thai desserts here tho and absolutely didn't like the jelly stuff. The banana chips were great tho.

When I came back for dinner there was a mix up with my food and I got three dishes instead of two. At first I didn't realize so I started eating it, but when I told them I didn't order it I didn't have to pay for it so it was fine.

I love the food here.

One of my go to places- tasty, cheap, healthy

Extensive menu, very tasty vegan food. Loved the vegan pork on rice, pad see ew, thick noodle clear soup with mushrooms, papaya salad, tofu salad and the massaman curry! Extra white rice is only 10 baht! Very friendly staff, food tastes great and is very very cheap. There is also a drink stall next to it, the coconut water with ice and sugar syrup (extra sweet) is great for 25baht. Came here many times and will miss it!

Pros: Delicious food , Excellent price , Many dishes to try

”Eat vegetables”

Having dined at the Kinphak closer to campus countless times, we thought we’d give this location a go. The menu is the same—almost all vegan with the unfortunate option to add egg—and very extensive, so there are always new dishes for us to try. We got pad see ew noodles and massaman curry, both of which were simple but yummy and filling. We also got a som tam and asked for it spicy, and they actually made it spicy (not just ”farang” spicy)!

They do really nice drinks here, including coconut milk-based shakes and fruit smoothies. My partner got the Thai milk tea which he LOVES, and I got a refreshing apple, watermelon and pineapple smoothie. You can combine whichever fruits you like! Make sure to specify that you’re ordering off the vegan menu, as there seems to be a different, dairy-serving business operating at the same stall where the drinks are made. They do also use disposable plastic cups and straws for their drinks, even when dining in, so we’ll try and remember to bring our own bottles if we return in the future.

Fun fact: ”Kinphak” (กินผัก) in Thai means ”eat vegetables”!

Pros: Cheap 💸, Fast service 💨, Almost all vegan 🌱

Cons: Serves eggs 🐣, Plastic cups and straws 🐢

Actually fully Vegan

This Cafe is right next to where we stayed, we went there pretty much every day, the food was always flavourful and delicious.
There is an adjoining smoothie place (mostly coconut with tea, coffee or other flavors, not fruit)

Pros: Huge variety of traditional Thai dishes, Great prices , Perfect location for us

Cons: Doesn't open til 10-10.30am

Vegan classic Thai food paradise

Great food and low prices plus many options make this place hard to beat. And it has a coconut smoothie bar adjacent to it. They also deliver through Grab app. There’s other great veggie options around but this place’s business hours are all around for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Pros: Many options for Vegan, Vegetarian, and Jain, Traditional Thai food classics only + salads , Spicy and oily levels at your request

Cons: Somewhat noisy due to the smoothie bar blender , Located on a main street, and with no door

Good food but service lacking

The food was pretty good- large portion of salad. They ran out of curry apparently so we could only get a curry flavoured fried rice. The food took ages to arrive and it seemed that they were prioritising deliveries over the customers at the restaurant, as we all seemed to be waiting a long time.

Perfect everyday restaurant

I really lucked-out having this place just a short walk from where I was staying. The menu is huge, as are the portions, and it’s all very fairly priced.

Each item on the menu costs around 50 baht, and each one is a meal. Get two items and you have a very large meal.

It’s all Thai food, and is a really high quality.

If you’re staying nearby, this is the kind of place that you could come to everyday given how cheap it is, and how much variety there is on the menu.
