Terrible salad - lukewarm matcha latte

I had a very bad salad with nearly uncooked pasta in the salad box. I was excited about my matcha latte but it was lukewarm, almost cold. I have seen all the amazing reviews but unfortunately this place really disappointed me😒I was hoping they had some cakes without sugar, so with agave syrup or any other alternative sweeteners but they only had sugary options.

Cons: very bad salad, only sugary cakes, cold matcha latte

Hello Eszter,
We are sorry about the salad, uncooked pasta are not a pleasant thing to eat. Can you please send me your Bank Identifier Code ? I will organize a refund.
About the lukewarm matcha Latte, this is not normal of course... If it happens next time, please ask for a new one.
Usually, we have an alternative of non-sugary pastries : raw cakes with agave syrup (chocolate raw cake at this moment). But it is not our main thing. There is 1 choice of raw cake and maybe they were all sold when you came.
We apologize for your bad experience,
Olivier

Great vegan food, English menu

Cloud Cakes is one of the few French restaurants I could find that had a menu in English. I arrived in Paris not speaking any French, and could easily order a double espresso and some food. Their food was delicious, their menu large, and their staff exceptionally kind and helpful, despite the language barrier. If you are English (or French!) speaking, and vegan or vegetarian, I absolutely recommend this cafe.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, English menu, Helpful staff

Cons: None

Great brunch but portions to large.

We started off with croissants, a cold drink, and a hot drink. We then received a extremely large plate of tofu scramble, salad, and potatoes. After finishing that course we then got handed a smaller stack of pancakes which was enough for two people to share. They only had one option for brunch which was the 3 courses. Not a choice for just pancakes or scramble. We got there at a good time (right when it opened) which was before the huge rush of people. Not to mention the fact there’s not much seating. If you want a good seat get there early. Overall it was great food but portions too big.

Pros: Lots of vegan baked goods, Cute/good location , Good seems well made

Cons: Portions to large, Not enough seating

Yummy yum yum

Can’t believe how good this place was. Had my first vegan croissant from here and it was absolutely lovely. Every time we went (because we returned multiple times during our visit), it was packed full because of how popular it is! A must-visit for a good vegan croissant (and whatever other dessert foods you desire).

Love it!

This is my favorite little vegan cafe in Paris, therefore in the world. It’s so adorable. I got the croissant and baked goods and the breakfast pancakes.

The aesthetics are real

Super cute, and like the title says, aesthetically pleasing. With the latte designs, cute interior, and charming blue mugs & little plates, this place is the best photo spot and place to chill for breakfast in. Not only that but the food and coffee are delicious!! It was the best breakfast I had while in Paris. I had a croissant, pancakes, and latte w/ coconut milk & vanilla syrup. The pancakes are pretty thin but I still think they’re good for the price and are delicious. We also had the pecan & chocolate chip cookie after our meal which was really good, there was definitely too many nuts to where you couldn’t taste much of just the cookie itself but I still really liked it, especially when I bit into the chocolate chip parts. The staff are very friendly and speak English.

Pros: Friendly staff that speaks English , Great aesthetics, Great food

Cons: Cookie had way too many nuts, Pancakes a bit thin/small

Too crowded!

Don’t get me wrong, I love cloud cakes. Unfortunately, it has become too crowded for its own good. Hard to find seating, tight space and slow service makes this a difficult place for me to recommend.

Pros: Great vegan pastries and food.

Cons: Crowded, Slow service, Closes too early.

Such a disappointment

I had such high hopes for this place after reading all the positive reviews. Sadly, this place did not live up to my expectations. The soup came out cold and the carrot cake tasted like what I imagine playdoh to taste like. The crossaints were ok, not as good as the ones Ive had in the US, but I guess it's supposed to be healthier. The grilled cheese was pretty good, but came with a salad that had zero dressing(maybe this is normal in Paris?). Service was also kind of strange. You have to order first before you can sit down, and the food took really long to come out (even the cake and soup that just literally needed to be put on a plate or bowl, really?!) Perhaps I'm being rather harsh after having walked many miles to specifically go to this place, but I fail to see the hype. Maybe the cupcakes I didn't try are good...

Pros: all vegan, crossaints and grilled cheese are ok

Cons: cold soup, slow service, gross carrot cake

Excellent

We were in Paris for 3 days and we went here twice. I really loved this place. It's a vegan patisserie that also does a few additional breakfast & lunch dishes. We tried a selection of cakes & brownies, vegan croissants, avocado on toast & pancakes. Everything that we had was excellent and the guy that served us was really pleasant. The coffee was also really good. I'll make sure I call in again next time I'm in Paris.

Absolut genial!

Wollten eine Kleinigkeit mittags essen. Sehr leckere Kürbissuppe und göttlicher "Grilled Cheese". Unbedingt probieren! Top Empfehlung!!!

Amazing cafe right in the centre

The food here is absolutely amazing and the service was great! This is the perfect place to go to for a soup and a sandwich type lunch. I’d recommend trying the grilled cheese, it comes with mushrooms inside and also a side salad, it was spot on. You are spoiled for choice when it comes to cakes, I can’t wait to try out more of the menu!

Pros: Good value for money , Tons of choice

Amazing vegan grilled cheese!

Really cute all vegan coffee shop that sells cupcakes and cakes, but also sells lunch and breakfast. We had dessert before lunch, because lunch is only served from 12.00. The tiramisu cupcake was insanely good and the grilled cheese is also highly recommended! I don't know what vegan cheese they use but it's super cheesy!

Update: the croissants and cheesecake were also really tasty!

Pros: delicious cupcakes, lunch options, friendly staff

Cons: Breakfast till 11 and lunch from 12, Drinks are relatively expensive

Good vegan café in the center of Paris

I went to Cloud Cakes many time since thier opening, in fact I was ther in their openinng day.
Their biggest asset is their location, in the center of Paris where there are not that many vegan places, and right next to one of the busiest and most touristic streets of Paris.
They have good croissants, cakes and drinks. They also propose a delicious brunch on Sundays.
The only downside is the interior of the shop. I find it is in a poor state after only a couple of year and would need to freshened up.

Pros: Location, in the center of Paris! , Good cakes and drinks

Cons: Interior needs to be freshened up

Mixed feelings

I‘d come again for the brownie and to try some of their cupcakes!

Pros: Very chocolate-y brownie (cakey instead of fudgy), Good assortment of savoury and sweet food, Peanut butter chocolate cake is very moist!

Cons: Cloud salad dressing a bit too sugary for me, Black forest cake not that great , Staff overwhelmed, didn‘t seem to care much

Croissants!

The croissants didn’t look like they were going to be as good as they were, but they were indeed delicious. All the food was delicious. I think the person who took our order was new because it took a little while, and they were definitely busy, which is good, but give a little extra time for the food to arrive.

Great Capuccino

I missed the breakfast deadline which was a bummer but I had what I imagine a french breakfast; Café et croissant.

The Cappuccino was really great, some soy/oat/almond milks can ruin the drink but they use one that makes the Cappuccino lovely! The Croissant was in my opinion a bit to long in the oven. Perhaps this appeal to some but I prefer it a bit softer, but with that said it still tasted good!

Pros: Great cappuccino, Lovely street and atmosphere in the small café, Could charge my phone, big plus

Cons: Croissant a bit to long in oven

Amazing selection of cakes & brunch options

Quite small but cozy atmosphere. I had vegan pancakes with almonds, "cream", caramel and fruit and was delicious - even my friend, who isn't veggie or vegan liked it! Very reasonably priced for Paris, with the pancakes costing around €7.50 and the cakes/cookies/cheescakes costing between €2-€5. Would definitely reccomend.

Pros: Lots of delicious vegan options
