Le lieux est super et la nourriture de qualité et de goût
Petit point négatif sur l'attente car le restaurant est victime de son succès

Breakfast in January

We had a marvelous time for breakfast at CLO this Monday. Very tasty french toast and a sweet potato wafle along with chai latte, hot chocolate, green tea flavoured with spice bread and a very surprising Greek Mountain Tea.
Also very kind staff.
We are surely looking forward to come back someday and have lunch

Pros: Tasty, Sympathetic, Well presented

Cons: Summer fruits in winter

Cozy bite, tasty but small

We dropped in on a Saturday noon without a reservation and were lucky to get a table — the vibe inside was really cozy and relaxed. We ordered the quiche from the specials board (with parsnip) and the vegan pita with homemade pita sauce, both priced at €14. The service was quick and friendly, and everything tasted really good, but we did feel that both portions were on the small side for the price... The fresh ginger tea was very nice!

Pros: Location, Cozy atmosphere, Tasty food

Cons: Small portions

Seitan puff pastry ftw!

Cute place with decent dishes and very friendly staff.

The seitan saucijzenbroodje (seitan puff pastry) made me feel nostalgic, which is a good thing. Two of the other dishes my husband and I tastes were all right, not very good, not bad either. Just ok.

Great

We truly enjoyed our lunch of lasagne and the “salmon” with salad. The food was excellent and the service friendly. Unlike a few reviews here, we didn’t wait long at all on a Saturday. The pains au chocolat were amazing. 🤩 Also, pretty good value for money.

Not really impressed

Food was missing real flavour. Super expensive for what it is. €15 for a piece of quiche. Having a laugh. €11 for a piece of toast with pindakaas. Won’t go back

Cute lil café with nice brunch options

I had a really tasty lunch at the café. I enjoyed the savory waffles (unfortunately a little less spices and taste but were good nonetheless) and a really yummy pumpkin soup with two slices of tasty brown bread. The staff was really nice and the interior very cozy. However, you should keep in mind that the kitchen closes an hour before they close the café (weekdays kitchen closes at 3pm and the café at 4 pm)

Pros: Nice staff , All vegan, Cute interior

Cons: Could add a little more spice to the savory waffle

Tasty Food, good Drinks and very friendly staff

I went today for the first time there and had the day soup and the pita filled with different Kind of veggies and with a homemade sauce. Both was really good and I took home the Carrot cake as desert. Definetely I will come back.

Disappointing brunch

We had the bagel and the sweet potato waffle.
The bagel was baked in an oven instead of toasted so it was like eating a rock. Couldn’t really taste any of the flavours of the bagel fillings because of having to crunch so hard on the bread.
The waffle had far too many olives on it so the flavour of olive overpowered all the other flavours in the waffle.

Failed to deliver

First choice croissant with jam - out of stock
Second choice nachos - out of stock
Third option bagel - FULL of garlic

Also tried to order hot chocolate and guess what.. out of stock!! Sat down at 11.30am so no excuse for all these items to be out of stock.

Other half ordered an ice coffee that was warm?

Ordered a bottle of water as our food arrived, never arrived then had the audacity to try and charge us for this?!

Carrot cake was dense and stodgy. Such a shame as something that promises a lot failed to deliver. Personally wouldn’t recommend from the experience we had.

Pros: Seating outside

Cons: Everything tried to order was out of stock, Slow service

Not for me

Maybe I got unlucky, but I didn't really enjoy my experience. The bread used for the toast was really good, but everything on top of it was quite bland and didn't work together. The place is small and there is not much room between tables. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, but I wouldn't go again.

Pros: Staff is very welcoming

Cons: Very noisy, Food was only ok

Delicious breakfast

Nice location, friendly personal and delicious vegan food. We had the English breakfast and pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Both were a good portion and very delicious!
You need to try it when you're in Antwerp.
We were there on Sunday morning and no reservation was required. But it might be good to Plan your visit and reserve a spot.

Okay, not waw

Folks working there were really sweet. I wish the food was up to the service’s standard… my quiche was dried out, and the salad had 0 dressing. I got a cheese croissant with cheese on the side ( because they ran out of the sausage roll I really wanted) and thank god because the quiche (€14) would’ve never sufficed.

So all comments I’ve read below I can kind of agree with. Always good to have a vegan place though , I would come back to see if I was just unlucky.

Pros: Sweet people

Cons: Expensive , Mid

Disappointing

The staff was very friendly but the food was not good. I think the main problem was that some of the most important ingredients were not fresh/homemade (hummus)and of low quality (hummus, cheese sustitutes) , and the kitchen chef was not able to season well, so it was all a little flavourless.

Pros: Friendly staff, Good bread , Menu with a lot of options

Cons: Ingredients of low quality, not well seasoned, Crowded and noisy place

Super nice place

The place was great, as was the food. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, cute interior - and very tasty breakfast. We had the full English and a Bagel, both of which were very good. The scrambled tofu was a bit disappointing, but was made up for by incredible vegan sausages.

Okay-ish and overpriced

It took them a while to take our order. And many things on the menu were out of stock. We came round 12:30 and we couldnt order breakfast or lunch deals. The salmon bagel was okay, but the bagel was kinda sweet like a brioche. The salmon itself was good with some creamcheese but small portion. The coffee was very good.
My friend had a pita that looked good.
It was expensive.
