A nice cosy cafeteria-style restaurant with Middle Eastern inspired cuisine. Very friendly staff. Reasonable priced.

a nice place with a chance to eat in the store or take away. the food is very good and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. There are books and magazines in the consultation and the water is free.

This little bar is hidden in a typical small alley. You can decide for 1,2,3 or 4 different foods-options between 6-9€ f.e. some salad or vegan omelet (farinata). We loved it all. To drink you can buy a local beer or a fairtrade coke (both 3€). The music was unexpected good selected and the staff very very friendly and open minded.

We went here for lunch when visiting Genoa a couple of weeks ago, after the restaurant was just reopening after summer vacation. Food was fresh and tasty and tasted home-made, definitely nutritious and healthy (but not too healthy!) We had chocolate-raspberry cupcakes for dessert with some green tea, very tasty. The guy running the place was really friendly and we had a nice chat. The overall atmosphere of the place was relaxed. I would say this is your home away from home!

This place was a big mixture of things:
Tasty. Filling. Healthy. Vegan. And fairly priced again. For 8ish Euros we had a choice of 4 tasting portions, and by the end of it we were full. The theme was Indonesian. And the food was great. The quality was high, and the atmosphere chilled.

Visited Nov. 28th, 2010. All food was vegan and absolutely delicious! We had a choice of two soups, stuffed vegetables, rice noodles w/vegetables, polenta, and a grain dish. A plate full of 4 choices is 8 Euro. We enjoyed a local red wine with lunch. Dessert was a choice of delicious spelt muffins and green tea. The shop has a small selection of organic grocery items and wine for sale. Wireless internet use for free. Lorenzo, the owner, is very enthusiastic and friendly. Near the Porta Soprana tower, which we climbed to view the city after our meal.
