The only thing that makes me give 4 stars is that the spaghetti of my carbonara were broken/cut 😶 and that broke my heart. I would expect full length spaghetti in a restaurant that claims to serve traditional Italian food! Eating spaghetti with a spoon when you cannot even wrap them around the fork is criminal! Please never break them or you'll have an Italian on your conscience

Delicious food and everything is 100% plant based. The lasagna was excellent as was the pizza and arugula salad. Try to save room for some tiramisu at the end. Nice to have kombucha available as well. A highlight of Madrid for the plant based.

We'd had this place on the list to try for a while, but because it is quite pricey it had to wait for a special occasion. That occasion arrived and Choose delivered! We shared a pizza and a pasta and a cheesecake for dessert, and everything was delicious. We'll be back for the next special occasion!

Amazing menu let down by grumpy waitress - Edit
I struggled with the rating here, but despite the attitude of the waitress who might having just been having a bad day, the menu was quite amazing. We had to check a couple of times that it was plant based.
Read moreIt’s quite tricky to find, just a door in a wall with no indication that it is a restaurant. The door was locked and you have to press a buzzer, luckily there was a motorcycle delivery driver that assured us that it was open, as you can’t see any tables from the door.
It’s quite an interesting venue with vaulted ceilings and lots of little rooms.
A reservation is probably a good idea, but wasn’t full when we went at about 2:30 on a Saturday.
It is quite pricey, so would go for a special occasion, and I would also go hungry, as the portions are quite large.
We would probably have chosen better if we weren’t harassed by the waitress, and unfortunately I don’t think we will have time on the trip to try again.

We ordered the barbecue pizza which was absolutely delicious. The base was stone baked and the crust was delicious on its own, as well as high quality toppings. We didn’t order a pasta dish but saw other diners enjoying them and it look equally delicious. Would highly recommend for a fancy vegan dinner.

Estuve en enero de 2026. El sitio es muy bonito con decoración elegante. La carta tiene múltiples opciones de la cocina tradicional italiana y dan ganas de probarlas todas. Todo estaba bueno, pero nada fuera de lo normal, pastas y arroces correctos, que es lo que probamos. El filetti di mari era interesante pero prescindible. El antipasto sí era espectacular en la presentacion y la variedad.

Italian restaurant with a wide variety of pastas, rice dishes and pizzas. We ordered the pasta carbonara, the pizza affumicata and the pizza tartufo, and for dessert the caramel cheesecake. Everything was very, very good, but the pizza tartufo stands out, if you like the taste of truffle you will love this pizza.

The Arancinetti was good. 4/5
The "salmon tartare" was a piece of dough with a thick layer of cream cheese and a single slice of "salmon" on top. Such proportions are overall ok but not for a dish marketed as "tartare". The salmon looked and tasted like any store-bought pre-sliced vegan salmon alternative. The cream was ok. The dough was soggy, the flavour was off, and quite frankly it did not seem too fresh. The balance in the whole dish was off. 2.5/5
The mains:
The shroom pasta: The pasta was noticeably overcooked. The flavours were very unbalanced. The oil pearls looked interesting, but upon eating resulted in sudden bursts of intense oil flavour that overpowered everything else. 1/5
The risotto: The risotto was severely oversalted. The rice felt overcooked. 0/5
When your whole business revolves around preparing food, not overcooking or oversalting your dishes is the bare minimum.
The service was ok. Average for some countries, below average compared to the rest of our experiences in Spain.

Para nosotros es visita obligatoria cada vez que vamos a Madrid. Pizzas buenísimas, difícil de escoger porque hay mucha variedad y todas están muy buenas. Postres espectaculares (dejaros un hueco si o si para el postre). La atención por parte del personal también muy buena y amable.
