Serves meat, vegan options available. Mexican fast food chain founded 1993 in the US and now operates outlets across North America and several more overseas. Set up is assembly line style where you could customize your order of tacos, burrito, or burrito bowl, and request no cheese or sour cream. Offers a savory sofritas filling that's made from soy protein, and some locations offer Impossible meat. Rice, beans, guacamole are vegan. In early-2019 added a pre-configured vegan bowl which includes the sofritas in addition to other fillings like guacamole. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-10:00pm.

Salty food

Sofritas is a good vegan protein option. I'd love to see them have a vegan sour cream and cheese option, though. The grilled veggies are good and getting side salsa can help it taste better. Beware of salt content; look up the nutrition facts on their website!

Pros: Compostable packaging

Cons: Delivery is shoddy

Decent vegan options

It's Chipotle, so not amazing, but they have two vegan options: grilled veggies and Sofritas. You can put together a solid fast casual meal, for not much money.

Pros: Cheap & fast

Solid chain Mexican-American build-your-own

Solid chain Mexican-American build-your-own restaurant. Nice to see exactly what ingredients are being added and request as much or as little as desired to your burrito / bowl / salad. Kids are generally happy eating at Chipotle, but the menu is necessarily limited to Mexican-American food. Gotta be in the mood for beans and rice to enjoy eating here. That said, I very much appreciate Chipotle's consistency in menu, product, atmosphere, etc. It's refreshing to know exactly what to expect and that there will (almost certainly) be no surprises.
