Beets don't kale my vibe - Edit
Delicious, Organic, vegan, mostly locally sourced, affordable. Pleasantly surprising, Excellent vegan find at Brooklyn's weekly Smorgasburg event at Prospect Park. So much to choose from. Decided on a salad & it did not disappoint. Topping a bed of fresh romaine & green leaf lettuces was a homemade beet Patty, heirloom tomatoes, hickory smoke eggplant bacon, vegan cheddar, pickles drizzled with homemade ranch. Beet Patty was just right moist, held together well. The eggplant bacon was well seasoned, thickly sliced and just crisp enough to provide a good texture contrast to the patty. Companion had the pulled BBQ jackfruit sandwich, & enjoyed the texture and flavor, this being their first time trying jackfruit.
Offers catering, and serves at popups throughout Brooklyn. Will seek them out on my next visit to the area; definitely worth a return trip.
Pros: 100% vegan, Delicious food, Good variety, filling, affordable
Cons: No permanent location for when visiting from out o

Great Find At Smorgasburg - Edit
This spot is a welcome vegan presence in the carnist orgy of Williamsburg eats. I loved the beet sliders, and I'm looking forward to trying more. They do catering, too!
Pros: Delicious, Healthy, Fun
Cons: Seasonal, Few GF Options
