The BBQ ranch burger - Edit

Hi guys! I want to give a review for the Vegan Ranch BBQ burger🍔 that I got today @chickpeaandolive which is located in Whole Foods Market at 238 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn. Why! Because the vegan burger 🍔 is that Good. This is my 2nd time I had the Vegan Ranch BBQ burger! Last weekend was the 1st time I ever tried this Burger but I decided not to write the review b/c I didn't take photos of the vegan ranch BBQ burger I ordered @chickpeaandolive at the same location & opted to go food shopping & after I put the groceries in the back of the car & I decided to eat the burger in the car on the way home b/c I didn't want the burger to get any colder & lose it's taste! This wasn't the case in taste wise! This had to be 1 of the Best vegan burgers if not the Best vegan burger I ever eaten👌🏻! I remember the woman saying when she handed me the burger, Enjoy it! And that I did😋! I told that same woman today that burger was the Best burger I ever had! The accolade I'm giving for the taste of that Ranch BBQ burger is EXCELLENT! This photo you see is of the Ranch BBQ burger with fries is from today & I worried a little if was I was going to like it that much again! It tasted EXCELLENT!!! The fries were great too! Give IT A TRY👍🏻!!! #veganfoodlovers #vegan #vegansofig #plantbase #plantbased #chickpeaandolive #chickpeaandolivebrooklyn #love #cruelyfree #cruelfreefood #cruelfree #brooklyn #newyorkcity #newyork #queens #veganlovers #veganloversfoods

Inside Whole Foods aprox 20 ft from front doors - Edit

Wish there was a huge sign with arrow over here VEGANS!!!! Fries very salty and I confess I love that especially on a hot day like today. Delicious dipping sauce.

Great vegan burgers and very generous portions!

I like the containers which look eco friendly and it makes it easy to bring home what you don't.

Very nice kind staff member and I like it but there's a bathroom in whole foods I can wash my hands

Pros: staff

Chickpea, O I LOVE YOU ! - Edit

Fav ! Fav ! Fav !
If the world only knew how much I love chickpeas & how much I love olives. Lol. So right from there, this place caught my attention & hadn't got rid of me since. I've been a loyal customer to there 3rd Ave Whole Foods location & now with them moving to the Whole Foods in Williamsburg, I've followed them & I'm still in love. I bring friends there all the time to try this greatness. My first time tasting the food at this magical place was summer '16 @ Smorgasburg in Williamsburg where I had my first BBQ Jackfruit burger ever. & because of you guys, I learned what a jackfruit was, I went & got some of my own & create meals with it all the time. Next I had my first beet burger ever. Tried vegan cheese for the first time & so many other things because of the sweetest workers ever. Kim is a DARLING. Everyone on the team in fact & I wish I knew everyone's names but I love you guys, the food, the locations. I CANT WAIT TIL YOU GUYS OPEN UP A STORE BECAUSE I WILL BE THERE FRONT & CENTER WITH A LINE OF FRIENDS WAITING TO SUPPORT YOU GUYS. Thank you for everything.

Beets don't kale my vibe - Edit

Delicious, Organic, vegan, mostly locally sourced, affordable. Pleasantly surprising, Excellent vegan find at Brooklyn's weekly Smorgasburg event at Prospect Park. So much to choose from. Decided on a salad & it did not disappoint. Topping a bed of fresh romaine & green leaf lettuces was a homemade beet Patty, heirloom tomatoes, hickory smoke eggplant bacon, vegan cheddar, pickles drizzled with homemade ranch. Beet Patty was just right moist, held together well. The eggplant bacon was well seasoned, thickly sliced and just crisp enough to provide a good texture contrast to the patty. Companion had the pulled BBQ jackfruit sandwich, & enjoyed the texture and flavor, this being their first time trying jackfruit.
Offers catering, and serves at popups throughout Brooklyn. Will seek them out on my next visit to the area; definitely worth a return trip.
Now open inside Brooklyn's Whole Foods Market! So glad for brick/mortar location. Noshed on the Oyster Mushroom Po'boy sandwich, with a side of truffle fries. Oyster Mushrooms lightly battered, deep fried, deliciously crispy, light, not at all greasy; hand cut fries sprinkled with truffle salt nice accompaniment. Very filing.

Pros: 100% vegan, Delicious food, Good variety, filling, affordable

Cons: none

Good burgers - Edit

They have 3 different burgers that are served either on a bun ($12) or w/ salad ($10). I tried two different ones and they were both very good. Service could be more friendly/helpful

Pros: good food, cheap by nyc standards

Cons: okay service, but not top notch

Great Find At Smorgasburg - Edit

This spot is a welcome vegan presence in the carnist orgy of Williamsburg eats. I loved the beet sliders, and I'm looking forward to trying more. They do catering, too!

Pros: Delicious, Healthy, Fun

Cons: Seasonal, Few GF Options
