Should be 5 stars!!: Greetings, fellow vegans: I went for dinner with my husband, and it was our first time there. We enjoyed the early dinner time, quietness, and the music. To include excellent service and great food. Family oriented atmosphere, it's a wonderful place to eat. The ambiance was awesome. To begin with, they offer outdoor seating if you choose, and it is in a quaint area. The inside of the restaurant looks beautiful. Service was very friendly and efficient. I know our server was a lovely young woman, and I believe her name is "Zome" (please forgive if I spelled your name incorrectly)."

I had the plant based burger (Vegan Frita) and it was actually quite good and very filling. Love that the sides are also plant based, no lard or ham, or anything like that, in the rice or beans.

I really like the vegan food here. The breakfast bowl is my favorite, but the onion burger is a close second. When they have it, the vegan turkey mac is fantastic!! Servers are knowledgeable.

I ordered the breakfast sandwich combo. It was delicious. It comes with 2 sausage patties, so it's enough for two servings. Went inside and had the vegan breakfast bowl! It's a beautiful restaurant.

It's nice to have vegan options in a small-ish town. The vegan turkey mac was interesting and very different side than I've ever had before as a vegan.

Not a huge amount of Vegan options but they are clearly marked on the menu and what we got was really good! Went for the enpanandas beefy style which came with a sauce, really tasty. Had the vegetarian plate as a main which is of course vegan so unsure what its called vegetarian, is white rice with black beans, and veg, plantain. Was really tasty and good portion size. Got fries on the side which were really good.
Read moreOnly gripe with the place was the waiter had no idea what a vegan was so when we asked which sauces were vegan for the vegetarian plate as it came with one he said i don’t know the difference, no attempt to find out. We had to ask him to ask… not great customer service but not the restaurants fault.

I'd have given 5 stars if they'd told the cigar smokers to stop, there is even a No Smoking sign on ea table.
Read moreWe had the breakfast bowl and the sandwich. Hint: get the bowl as they're the same exact dish and same price but the bowl has more food.
There was some bright orange vinegar like sauce on top which I will omit next time (not a fan of vinegar smelling stuff). Otherwise really great food.
P.S. it's "Chica's", not Chicae - misspelled on the happy cow page.
