Café gourmand ☕️ 🍰

I went there twice recently and it was very cozy lil' cute place. The dairy free cheese are amazing ( local products ) Burgers were a lil bit to dry and too heavy for me but the chips which were served with are fabulous. Go ahead to discover the "café/thé gourmand"

Pros: Happy and fast staff, Cozy place and good food, good price

Cons: Dry/Heavy steak burger

Wonderful

Absolutely loved this restaurant. Super homely and cozy.

Friendly owner who spoke great English and made me feel so welcome. Food was lovely and reasonably priced for the portion size. Will definitely go back when I’m back in town.

A gem

It was not easy to find Chez Vegetayelle (it's in a corner of a very strange square!), but the result was worth it! The owner is incredibly energetic and "sunny", she is a great host always smiling and treating everyone in a great way.

The food is also very good, both the main dishes (it's a small place, so it offers three different dishes; I tried two of them and they were delicious, the burger and mashed potatoes with dried tomatoes) and the desserts (I tried to chocolate-based ones and I wanted mooooooooore!).

The place is nicely decorated, cozy, you feel like at home. Really a great place, one of the reasons why I love the veggie community!!! :--)

great place to snack

A tiny snack in a corner of the Place Occitane offering good & cheap vegan food. Their hazelnut muffins were extraordinary !

First, the cook and the waitress are very welcoming and good at their jobs.
Plus, the food is very good at a reasonable price for organic food.
Finally, their juice are extremely good and refreshing.

Warm, welcoming and vegan

Visited for lunch on June 7. Fabulous burger and lasagna. Owner spent time with us and treated us to delicious patisseries. Such a welcome for two Americans. She generously provided travel tips--suggestions for places to eat and sights to see in Paris in almost flawless English. Can especially recommend the chocolate cupcake with lavender frosting. Every bite was heavenly! Can't wait to visit again!

Pros: freshly prepared and delicious food , friendly staff, memorable meal

Cons: None

Great vegan café in the centre of Toulouse

We visited on a Sunday after shopping at the various Sunday markets and just before flying home. We had burgers and fries which were tasty and very filling. We made room for their cakes too. The waitress speaks very good English. When we left her a tip, she told us that all tips go towards an animal sanctuary they are supporting which made us very happy.

Pros: wholesome vegan food with gf options, very reasonable prices, friendly, English-speaking staff

Cons: none

Fantastic Place - A must if you're vegan!

I absolutely loved this place!! We were the first table to arrive so sat outside in the courtyard. The lunch formula was €12.50 for a main and dessert. Great value! There were 3 options, vegan burger with salad and fries (mixed parsnip & potatoes) which we both chose. It was really tasty, big enough portion, & came quickly. Not made with any fake meat, good mix of beans, nuts and veg. Also had a nice creamy soy based dip.
It soon filled up and we got to look at the other 2 options as people ordered. One was a layered raw Asian salad with bean sprouts and sesame carrots & the third was a barley risotto with leeks and creamed peas. Both looked yummy. The desserts were also really good and all gluten free :) I had a blueberry cake with vegan chocolate, my husband had a tart with cacao & matcha, served with strawberries - both big, fresh, yummy. There was carrot cake and fruit bowl too.
Great coffee, also tried the daily juice - carrot & apple. They had homemade lemonade and herbal teas too.
We went at lunch on a Saturday and be warned it got really busy, full actually by 1pm so go early!!
Please visit this place if in Toulouse, especially if your vegan, such a lovely atmosphere and of course great food.

Pros: All Vegan All Organic Super friendly waitress (exp

Cons: A little hard to find using google maps! Gets busy

Burgers and pastries!

Finally a restaurant offering vegan burgers on Toulouse! Formerly a food bike, Snack Vegan is now associated with Vegetayelle who cooks tasty cakes and pastries. And it's great! They are centrally located (even if a bit hidden on Occitanie place). The restaurant is pleasant and offers burgers, lasagnas and various cakes and pastries for a very decent price. Everything is organic and you can get generous portions (e.g., a burger with potatoes and a dessert for 12.5 euros). The burger was good, some potatoes could have been more cooked but the whole dish was clearly satisfycing. I took a chocolate fondant with hazelnut as a dessert: big and tasty! I will definitely come back, and I appreciate the oppening hours. You can have a burger from noon to nine pm!

Pros: good burgers and pastries, 100% organic, generous portions, decent prices, centrally located, opening hours, friendly staff

Cons: hope to have french fries instead of potatoes
