Read moreNo one of us needs to eat glutenfree, but was the nearest bakery which was open.
Ordered the cinnamon roll, apple turnover, a smal passionfruit tarte and a shortbread.
Everything was tasty (shortbread really yummy), dough in everything a little solid, think because of the glutenfree.
They have an open bakery, a few seatings in the inside. Everything is clearly labeled. Offer rice and almond milk.

Big vegan selection - Edit
This is a completely gluten-free bakery with a lot of vegan options. I loved the selection and had a hard time choosing what to get. I ended up getting a chocolate croissant, an almond croissant, and an Oreo mini cake. Everything was good, but not like the traditional pastries. They were denser and less flaky, but still tasty and great to satisfy a sweet craving!

Vegan Oasis - Edit
Before arriving in Quebec City, the town seemed devoid of true vegan options. I stopped in to Chez Hansel et Gretel, conveniently around the corner from my Airbnb, and was blown away. We enjoyed their pan au Chocolat and croissant--both buttery and moist. This quaint cafe became a daily staple. Later in the week, I had cherry chocolates, bursting with cherry juice and layered with coconut, and an Oreo cake. When we couldn't come because of the hour restrictions, we bought frozen items for the following day. I ate chocolate-cranberry bread on a summit in Jacqes Cartier National Park and croissants in the Quebec city airport. Thank you for filling our week with vegan goodness.

Delighted with the vegan offerings ! - Edit
My husband and I are visiting Quebec for a few days and was delighted to have breakfast here this morning ! The cafe has a nice offering of vegan pastries and good coffee ! We had the apple turnover , croissant, almond croissant and cinnamon roll. All very good . All of the items are color coded for your convenience to tell what items are vegan and gluten free . Worth the visit 😃

Nombreuses options pour les différents allergènes. On se sent en confiance, tout est clair et bien indiqué. J'ai choisi les croissants aux amandes et le Cherry Blossom, et le gâteau au fromage keto. Tout était délicieux! Quelques places et tables assises pour manger sur place.
