why is this place on Happy cow? this place is a typical Chinese restaurant served with typical oily food and not accepting veggie friendly requests. no custom orders. go to Happy Elephant next time.

50's-era grease - Edit
If you long for the too-greasy Chinese-ish fare of the 1970s chop suey joints, you'll probably love Chen's. If you're looking for something with either a more authentic Monterey Park feel or a healthy California vibe, this is not the place for you. In a pinch, the sizzling rice soup will suffice, but with so many good Thai places so close (next door, in fact), you can get a lot more satisfying fresh veggies within walking distance.
