Lovely and lively - Edit
A fantastic outdoor farmers market, focusing on local produce and vendors, as well as local musicians. Plenty of fruits and veggies and plants. Among prepared foods there are nut butters,sauces/dips, baked goods, empanadas, and pizza. I also met the folks of Cookie's cookies, who are a Long Beach based cookie company making vegan and gluten free cookies!
Non food vendors include aromatherapy, creams and beauty products, clothing, and jewelry. The area can get a bit congested since it's located at a park near the beach, but there are parking lots around. Overall a great farmers market and of course very veggie friendly! The first time I went to this market was right after a jog along the beach - makes the fruit that much more refreshing :)
Pros: Variety, Ambience, Location
Cons: a bit crowded, go early
