Delicious, friendly, and killer desserts - Edit
My mom is a very picky eater, so finding a veg/vegan-centered place she actually enjoys is rare. She liked this one - kudos to the restaurant.

The food is okay but the baked goods are out of this world!!! I’ve had an amaretto cupcake and a pumpkin one and each time my carnivore boyfriend said it was the best cupcake he ever had. Seriously so good vegan or not!!

Chef Brook’s Cafe is an absolute joy. She makes most everything herself and it’s mostly all vegan. If you tell her what you can eat or want to avoid she has multiple options and the are all amazing. You can bring everyone here, she has vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, and even some organic animal proteins. Whatever you get, it will be healthy and made by one of the best healthy food Chefs out there.

Chef Brooke is an absolute gem. Her bakery items are to die for even if it's a flavor you think you wouldn't like. Everything vegan is labeled and she's very knowledgeable. The dishes are slightly different every time you order them. I can't say enough about her and her business. 🖤

It is a cozy restaurant with alot of vegan options. The lady there was very friendly, nice and helpful. I tried the mock tuna melt sandwich and it was good but I did not think it tasted like tuna salad and there was no vegan cheese or anything melted. But I enjoyed it. I would have just called it an open face veggie sandwich since that's what it looked and tasted like. The potato salad was delicious. I plan to go back and try more things. They have tofu, tempeh, seitan, desserts, soups, etc. She said their mock chicken salad is made with tempeh. Overall it is a good place for vegans to visit.

I walked in unsure of what to get and the boy at the register was so helpful. They have a menu of entrees and you can pick whatever protein you like. Some of the vegan options were tofu, seitan, tempeh, and tunaless/chickenless salads. I got the Reuben style melt with seitan and a strawberry and apricot faerie cake and it was incredible. The flavors were fantastic. I even enjoyed the sides that it came with (a coleslaw and side of potatoes). Definitely going back!

Personally I love Chef Brookes. I have thoroughly enjoyed everything I've ordered there. I love the artsy atmosphere. Her prices are on the higher side, I always seem to spend close to $20 for lunch! Let me preface that I could get away cheaper if I opted not to have a Faerie Cake, but they are just so good I can never pass them up! I cringe when I hear stories about Chef Brooke's snarkiness. People tell me they would never go back because they thought she was rude... I say toughen up cupcake! Lets support those who support a plant based lifestyle and remember that fresh and healthy does cost a little more, especially if you are opting to eat out.

Read moreGirlfriend and I are down here visiting family and wanted a bite to eat. It was between here and fibre, but their website was a little confusing.
We both ordered the tempeh Rueben, a 32 ounce container of potato salad, and I scooped up two cupcakes otw out.
I was expecting something with a good vegan 1000 island dressing, sauerkraut, etc...none of that to be found. Their herb tempeh was delicious, but the sandwiches that we paid 10.99 each for were the size of garden party cucumber sandwiches. Not a very big portion at all.
Potato salad was good but bland. $16 was not worth it imo, but whatever. It looked beautiful with the peas, carrots, and other veggies.
It was a great place to try, but we won’t return if we ever come back to Fort Myers.

The tempeh tacos are REALLY yummy. I love the vegan lasagna. I love all of the vegan muffins that I have had there. Out of all of the places in fort Myers this place probably has the most vegan options and is amazing. While it's true that the owner is a bit sassy, she has a very kind heart, so just don't take it personally :)

Not sure where all the negativity is coming from, I've been coming here for a couple years and I've never had a bad experience. I live in Naples so it's a treat when we make it over here for the Tempeh BBQ Melt and some Faerie cakes! By far my favorite place in SWFL for lunch. Love the vibes and the art, and Brooke is always sweet to us!

We are visiting town and found this place listed so thought we'd try it. The first impression with owner who took our order was that she was annoyed we were asking questions. Food was good and atmosphere was pleasant. The owner was so very nice and cheerful to obvious locals so we assumed it was a tourist thing. By the end of the check out she was better but it surprised us as we are usually welcomed by a vegan/ veg place.

Let me start by saying my family are vegetarians, but my son has to avoid gluten & dairy, which makes it difficult to find places to eat locally with more than 1 option for him to eat, he was SO EXCITED to see all the options they had on their online menu - & then even happier to find there were even more options on the board in the cafe! We loved the atmosphere & the food! It was SO good! The staff was super friendly & happy to help my son find something vegan & gluten free! He LOVED the GF vegan lasagna & the salad that came with it (he is normally a picky eater)! I had the sweet potato pecan patty with potato salad & coleslaw - it was all SO good. I didn't find the portions small - we both left full :)

I will never return to this establishment due to the curtness of the owner. She was rude to both the customers and her own staff. Very off-putting. If the food was wonderful I could probably look past it, but the food is just ok. The salad dressing was the best thing I had (it was really good)!!

We found this place on a vacation to the Ft. Myers. We loved everything about this place! Great service, atmosphere and food. I had some of the best soup I have ever eaten! I also had a vegan ruben that was yummy! The best part was the vegan fairy cakes. I bought 2 to go and after trying one, I was sorry I didn't buy them all. They were that good! I will be back there again when I am in the area!!

Chef Brooke's Food Is Magical! - Edit
I have been following Chef Brooke since she was at Ada's. It was the first time I had tofu and loved it! I was so sad when Ada's closed and then so thrilled that Chef Brooke opened her own cafe! I go there as often as I can. Yes it does take awhile to get your food but everything is freshly made, nothing microwaved, you just go there on days when you have a little time or call in and order it to go. She has free wifi as well. Yes it is more expensive than some but the quality is exceptional. I think her portions are more than ample. I feel Fort Myers is blessed to have Chef Brooke here and cannot imagine not having her food! I am addicted to: Mardi Gras Salad, any of her soups, veggie pizza, Tempeh Reuben, veggie burger, fairie cakes. Pretty much everything I have had is delicious!!! I have read some of the bad reviews about how Chef Brooke is rude and sometimes she is super busy, but she has never been anything but nice to me and I hope you don't let this stop you from going there to try her deliciousl food, teas, coffees and juices! You will be glad you did!
