Great choices - Edit
They had so many choices that sounded great that it was very difficult to pick just one for breakfast. Tried the smoked tofu and kimchi sandwich (which was delicious) as well as the pumpkin spiced latte and the gingerbread spiced latte. Had a lovely breakfast. Staff was very nice and the place itself rather cosy. Would definitely come back and can’t wait to try their other options!

Lovely Cafe with excellent breakfast options for the savory tooth - Edit
Went there twice during our stay in Edinburgh. Had a full breakfast the first time and the French Toast with Bacon and Banana the second time. My partner had the sourdough with scrambled tofu.

Read moreSandwiches were amazing! One had “chicken” and the other one “pastrami”, both soooo good. It’s our last day here and I wish we discovered this earlier. Will definitely come back next time to try the other ones. The cake was really good as well, forgot to take a picture at first because it looked so good. The workers were also super kind and I don’t think it was expensive either for that portion.

Charming cafe with delicious options! - Edit
This coffee shop has such a wonderful aesthetic - it is brightly lit with lots of plants and greenery. We got the breakfast platter, which was pretty good but I wouldn't say anything particularly out of the ordinary (we enjoyed the vegan haggis the most), and a smoked tofu with kimchi sandwich with a soup add-on. The sandwich was a really great combination of flavors and the bread was wonderful as well. And the soup, which was only a pound more on top of the sandwich, was a Moroccan lentil soup that warmed the soul. We didn't try any sweets but they also looked good!

Had a mocha and two croissants (one filled with Nutella, one filled with raspberry). Pastry was perfect - not too flakey, but not too moist… just right! Cute vibe to sit in, or a convenient take-away close to Haymarket station.

Awesome breakfast/brunch - Edit
This fully vegan cafe is just a short walk from Haymarket station (or you can get the 2/3/25/33/44 buses which stop not too far away).
Read moreI love the options they offer for breakfast here - the cooked breakfast is awesome, particular shout out to the haggis and the scrambled tofu, super yummy!
I'm always torn though when I order, because the french toast is amazing too. I recommend the option with blueberries and yoghurt, but be warned - there's loads and it's very filling!
As someone who doesn't like coffee, I'm always looking for thoughtful non-coffee options on the hot drinks menu, and the chai tumeric latte definitely qualifies. An actual, tasty well-designed drink (as opposed to other lazy shops that just throw chai syrup in hot milk!).
Pros: Breakfast menu is amazing, Super selection of drinks
Cons: Hard to decide what to choose!
