Very nice surprise - Edit
This restaurant offers a complete vegan menu from appetizer to dessert (and even a préfou!). I was truly blown away by the main course; the flavors were incredible. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it and hope they expand their vegan options even further.

A delightful veggie restaurant - Edit
This place filled my heart with joy (and delicious flavours). The description here in HappyCow says it serves meat but maybe it has changed because they now say they are veggie restaurant and the menu only has vegan and veggie items. Very friendly people, cosy atmosphere and creative yummy food. It made me very happy!

Most of the menu items were vegan or could be made vegan. We had the ChaCha burger and I never imagined a burger could taste so good. This was the best restaurant we ate at during our week in Nantes!

The food here was perfectly ok but nothing I went crazy for. Service was friendly but then inexplicably there was a very long wait between starters and mains, it felt like we had been forgotten as other diners were getting their meals in the meantime. Their WiFi was down so we had to go out for cash; we had totalled up what we expected and it matched what they said when we were about to go out for cash, but when we got back they said they had been out by €10 and so they took the full amount we had withdrawn (over by €5 or so). A bit awkward as we didn’t think that was actually correct, but by that point we were just ready to go…

Les photos que je voyais me parlaient pas trop, j'avais peur que ça soit une cuisine très légumes/diététique/que sais-je encore.
Et non.
C'est généreux.
VRAIMENT généreux.
Je me suis laissé tenter par un prefou au pesto maison, puis un burger entièrement végétal et j'ai fini sur un café avec quelques douceurs.
Je recommande tout de bout en bout.

We had starter, main and dessert. We had sweet potato with tahini to start, aubergine and Pak Choi with quinoa and a crumble for dessert. The food was fresh and good but not hugely filling, for the price I expected a slightly bigger portion! There was also a great selection of bio wines and cocktails!

Nous avons mangé en terrasse dans une rue qui est piétonne ce qui est agréable. Le service a été rapide. Nous avons choisi une des options vegan mais le contenu de l'assiette ne valait pas 15 euros. Le plat que nous avons pris "Burrata"- en version vegan, n'avait pas de mozza vegan du tout, on a eu des sortes de boulettes à la place trop cuites donc sèches, accompagnées par 3 tomates cerises, 2 Aubergines à la sauge, un peu de salade, 1 demi tomate à l'ancienne, 2 reines Claude, quelques rondelles de courgettes et 2 tranchettes de pastèque. Nous n'avons pas été conquises.

I have been four times to this restaurant over the course of two years. The food and cocktails are generally very good, however it depends on the current menu. The first two times I went to Chacha everything was exceptional. Vegan burger and cashew cheese will stay forever on my mind😋 There were also 3 to 4 main dishes to choose from. The last two times were more disappointing. Less options were available, but still the food was great. I assume this happened because of covid. I would like to be informed, however, if the main dish is cold or warm. Not even once did I see a main dish with meat. 80-90% of options are vegetarian and vegan. The prices are a bit high, but nothing special for a french city. Nevertheless the food is bio and locally sourced, that's why the prices are higher.

Pleasant restaurant with a small, seasonal menu and a good wine list - but frankly overpriced. I had a Buddha bowl with two raw balls I couldn’t identify and then some grated veg, plus couscous - costed me £13.90. Still hungry, I got a sorbet - £3.90. With an aperitif, I ended up paying £20 (for one person) and left hungry, only to go to a nearby restaurant to eat a filling main for half the price. The whole experience was very meh but brownie points for fresh veg. Wouldn’t go back though, considering the value for money.

Just okay spot for vegans. It's mainly vegetarian (some fish on the menu) with a few vegan options. The housemade vegan cheese and other dip were delicious but the portions were really tiny. They were also out of a few vegan things so there weren't a lot of options that night.

The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was also quite enjoyable.
