Great lunch - Edit
A cozy café attached to a guesthouse. I got a chef’s choice of a small assortment of dishes, for ¥1450. The little slices of chai cake and chocolate brownie in particular were amazing! I would definitely go back.

Amazing! - Edit
This restaurant is a gem. 100% plant-based and extremely tasty food. We ordered pizzas and they were awesome. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Cash only - Edit
Bit of an odd vibe. The older woman working here on the evening I visited seemed pretty confused when I came to the door, like she wasn't expecting anyone, and I had to double check that I was at the right address and it was indeed a restaurant. Regardless, she was very kind and friendly and led me inside the guest house to a room with one communal table. As others have mentioned, the atmosphere is very much 'room in someone's house,' kind of musty and awkward. I ordered on a tablet and tried to eat quickly as I felt uncomfortable and like I was a bit of a burden on her. It understandably took her a little while to make my food, so I wouldn't come in a hurry, especially if there's more than one of you. Payment is cash only and I had to call out to her in the other room. The food itself was nice enough, comforting home cooking. My smoothie was great. It looks like they do their pizzas to take away which might be the best option. Check their instagram for opening hours, they update it monthly.

We came here to see if its closed, but it was open. Small room, more like a home, and lots of music Instruments.. you can play if you like, i think. Food was good, not amazing but good.

Occasional hours - Edit
Came here today for lunch. Google maps image is wrong. The 'cafe' is now inside a hostel/guest house called 'Lazy house'. When I arrived I was told the cafe wasn't open: 'Maybe next week'. I would recommend calling in advance to check if they are actually serving food that week.

Very warm and friendly people, but so-so food - Edit
The food could be a little less bland, but this is a comment from someone addicted to spicy!

Unfortunately not a good experience - Edit
My friend and I came here to have lunch as it’s walking distance from Okayama station. We ordered similar lunch plates but mine had additional katsu pieces — they were nice. My friend’s vegan chicken was fully cold on the inside, so we think it was badly defrosted. Rice was not the freshest compared to other places. The vegan egg was not so bad. Side plates were also okay but nothing special.
Read moreWe also ordered the banana matcha smoothie. It was not blended well, full of crunchy pieces of ice. It also didn’t taste like matcha and had a very slimy texture. We couldn’t finish it.
Maybe we visited on a bad day — hope they manage to improve their services! We need fully vegan places 🫶

Really delicious! - Edit
I’ve been in Japan for a while and was excited to see they had pizza, fulfilling a craving. I got the Genovese and it was superb! I ordered it to go and they had to put it in two boxes, so sadly I don’t have a pretty pic to share. The included sides were also wonderful.

There are not many other options nearby, so I am very glad to have been able to eat here. I probably dont even remember what eggs taste like but these fake ones were tasty!!

Please try the katsudon bowl - Edit
The CBD branding would generally put me off, but the location and reviews were too good not to try this place and wow, am I glad I did. After almost 4 weeks in Japan, I think I can say the Katsudon bowl I ate here was the best Japanese vegan food I had all trip. Also loooved the green smoothie! I'm sure the rest is good too, but unfortunately when I wanted to eat there again the next day they had ran out of food by 7pm.

Meh - Edit
Ordered the katsudon, which comes with very soggy plant-based egg, and apparently also with employees' hair. Really ruined my appetite. In addition, the katsu was burnt on one side. My partner enjoyed their set meal, therefore 2* instead of just 1*.

Delicious food - Edit
The restaurant was very cozy and had English menus. I tried the Oyakodon and apart from the whole meal being delicious, the vegan egg was amazing! My partner (who isn't vegan) tried it as well and agreed that the egg was really well made. I would definitely return if I had the chance!

Good pizza - Edit
Pizza was served real fast. Could have been a little bit more on it, but to get vegan pizza in japan is kind of a privilege, so I'm fine. It was tasty!

They have a Japanese plant based meal with 7 small plates and brown rice which was excellent.
I came back a second time and had the vegan pizza which was also great.
The location is central, a few minutes from Okayama Station.

Perfectly satisfied - Edit
Would defiantly recommend the food platter as it comes with a great number of different dishes to try. All of them taste great with fresh produce. This alone would of just fed two of us but we took a pizza also which I could say wasn’t necessary as the platter alone was sufficient.

Food was great. Smoothies were full of cling wrap as it obviously hadn’t been removed from frozen fruit before blending. They still charged us for them.

Awesome Place! - Edit
I started with the plant platter (first thing on the menu) and I highly recommend that. Big pile of enzyme brown rice surrounded by eight small servings of variously well executed tastes. Soy sausage, curry chick peas, corn soup, fermented vegetables... Just amazing. Also had the pizza the next day, very yummy. Brownie is tasty, but Japanese portion of course!
Read moreI would recommend getting there at latest 6:30. I'm not sure if they stop serving food at 7 or 7:30, but the one day no hot food at 7 and only the CBD products and maybe you can get a brownie.

Once is not enough - Edit
Came here for lunch and was so impressed, I came back again for dinner. The vegetable side dishes were so, so good. Had the katsudon for lunch and, after reading the rave reviews for the pizza, had to give that a try too. Also got a smoothie with each meal. Everything was great.
