Good vegan breakfast - Edit
The “Rae” is grilled broccoli, beans, potatoes, salsa, and avocado with two soft tacos to wrap it up in. Yummy!

The Rae - Edit
Rating is based on only one vegan option, but it was good… Rae. They also had a soup special with artichoke and cauliflower made with coconut milk. Regretting not getting the soup! Frank’s hot sauce is on the table and the perfect accompaniment for the Rae dish of potatoes, veggies, pinto beans served with corn tortillas and salsa. We added avocado.

Staff was friendly, helpful and genuinely grateful we were there.
There is outdoor seating, but was not open.
Pros: A vegan option while shopping in downtown , Outdoor seating, Breakfast all day
Cons: Only one vegan option

Not good - Edit
The staff was rude, the food was bland and on top of all that there are these ridiculous rules you must follow. I do not recommend

The Rae (veg, potatoes, salsa) w/avocado is my go-to breakfast order at this charming place. Service is always excellent & the photos on the walls are hilarious.

One vegan option but it was decent. - Edit
They have one designated vegan option and quite a few vegetarian options. Vegan option wasn’t super creative but contains veggies, beans, potato, salsa (and you can add avo). My husband said it was decent.

Catitude - Edit
We love the sassy Catitude here at the Cateye. The Vegan option is their special “Raes” beans, tortillas, fried potatoes and fresh avocado.

Not Worth the One Vegan listing - Edit
I recently vacationed in Bozeman MT...in general life is hard for a vegan in MT. But a couple of the college towns have some good food. In Bozeman Cateye Cafe isn't one of them. I went because the online menu listed an item as vegan. Once I got there I ordered it but as I was waiting I read thru their 'guidelines'. I know these are based on a tradition of fun but I also realized that asking for changing or adapting future meals would probably not work. Once I got the plate it turned out to be a tasteless mush. Ah, well...

Cons: Lack of flexibility, Tasteless and unappealing food, Ordering challenges
