Nothing

I see an old review from 2024 about a vegan menu, but this wasn’t offered to me. And at the front I asked about vegan option and the person typed in the computer that I was vegan. We sat at the bar and the service wasn’t great. The server seemed genuinely unhappy which was kind of sad cause like same, but the vibes were off for sure. On the menu there were two vegan options. The green rice and the chips and guacamole. The food was good, nothing impressive. The green rice had a good flavor but an interesting color. Also, not a protein in sight for the vegans. Don’t go if you are looking for vegan options.

Creative Mexican Cuisine

Casa Playa has become our new favorite restaurant at Wynn, after Sinatra killed its separate vegan menu and service, once attentive and friendly, became abrupt and rushed. We started with the housemade guacamole, thick and slightly chunky, and served with crispy tortilla chips (I love that they’re not oily) and three types of salsas. The squash tamal is tender with mole verde and Thai basil. The Maitake Mushroom is another delicious appetizer with mushrooms covered in mole blanco and sprinkled with roasted pine nuts. The vegan ricotta enchilada, with cashew cream and salsa roja, is my favorite entree. The chile roasted eggplant is buried in cabbage and arugula in a tangy vinaigrette. I didn’t care for the chile relleno because it’s filled with Impossible ground beef. The horchata rice pudding is a work of art crowned with a nest of sugar threads and tiny flowers.

Pros: Imaginative dishes , Great service , Ambience

Cons: Needs more vegan desserts
