Great discovery - Edit
It was great to discover a place like this exists on the Azores. Vegetarian restaurant with vegan options in one of the most beautiful locations in Angra do Heroismo, with a wonderful view. Also has some great cakes, and staff was very friendly. The only downside is that they are not open for dinner :)

Lovely eatery with very nice view, placed in a beautiful park. Dish of the day highly recommended, along with the homemade bread, cake and well assorted menu. Organic. Friendly staff.

So, I was a little worried I'd be eating nothing but bread and apples while in the meat-heavy Azores. This place has a lovely view of the gardens, is steps from the Praça Velha, menu translated to English and German, local products. the most expensive things on the menu were under 5 euro. Portions reasonable. my boyfriend and I enjoyed our lunch there, I wish it hadn't been under renovations for most of my stay!
