Feeling very let down

Casa Divina is a genuinely lovely spot - warm atmosphere, good food, and I enjoyed my visit. Sadly my experience since has left me feeling very let down.

I booked a stay directly with the owner via WhatsApp and paid €800 by bank transfer. The only cancellation terms communicated were that no cancellations were permitted within 30 days of the stay. When I cancelled outside of that 30 day window, the owner refused to issue a refund, citing terms that were never clearly communicated or agreed to in writing. I have since raised a formal complaint with the UK International Consumer Centre.

I'd encourage others to book through a reputable platform with clear cancellation policies and payment protection rather than directly.
