Good fast food

Surprising to find a vegetarian cafe in the heart of Port Adelaide, not exactly an epicentre of healthy food and lifestyles. There were a few vegan options available - pies, pasties, lentil cakes and stir-fried vegies. Today we had the mushroom and lentil pie, the spelt pasty and the fries.

The pie and pasty were wholesome and tasty and I would have them again. The fries were very oily and probably not the healthiest choice. Although sometimes, you just want to eat fries. The plus side is they seemed to be home-made, not mass-produced.

The service was friendly, but like another reviewer here on Happy Cow has mentioned, the shopping centre the cafe is located in is not very appealing.

Pros: Inexpensive, Vegan options, Tasty

Cons: Location, Not the healthiest food ever

Pretty good!

I used to buy lentil pies here and they were good! Well priced too. The only thing that lets it down is the shop size and location (looks dirty and a bit scummy....). The old lady there is nice, although a tad weird....But all in all i would still go there to grab a pie when in the area!

Note- not sure if the pies are vegan, i was vego when i purchased the pies so never asked if they were dairy free...

Pros: Yummy, Well priced, Good selection of vego food

Cons: Small shop, Scummy shopping centre, weird-ish lady works there
