Lots of choice - Edit
Menu has separate vegan section with lots of choice that goes beyond the usual options. I had a couple of the tofu options (chilli & garlic as starter & Goan green curry) Both dishes were perfectly pleasant & didn’t come swimming in oil as is often the case. Unfortunately I was unable to check out the vegan naan bread but the other vegan in our group tried it & gave it the thumbs up

There’s a Cardamongst the Pigeons - Edit
Quite a grand setting in what was an old theatre building. Thoroughly enjoyed the pickles and poppadoms requested without mint yoghurt as vegan which wasn’t a problem at all. The Goan green tofu curry was tasty but dry and lacking any intense flavours to elaborate on. My Rogan Josh was good but not memorable. The side dish of Bombay potatoes was probably the highlight. Can’t complain at under £50 for 2 though including rice and wine.

Lots of vegan choices - Edit
This menu does contain non-vegan items, but the vegan items are clearly marked and there is lots of choice. I had the vegan tali and it was delicious.

Very delicious - Edit
Amazing flavour combos! Would love to try more of the menu. And delivered by restaurant not just eat driver. Great as a take away option but would like to try as a sit in too.

Very smart Indian with great vegan food - Edit
Three of us visited on a Sunday evening. We booked although we didn’t need to as the restaurant was very quiet when we arrived and became a little busier by the time we left. Two of us ate vegan and were pleased to see that the regular standard menu contains a vegetarian and vegan section with vegan meals clearly marked. The two of us ordered a “Vegan Three Tier Sharing Stand”. This is a selection of starters including tikka tofu, pakora, a slider made with an onion bhaji, and okra amongst other things. There was sufficient food for two of us. We drank beer from a selection which we knew to be vegan and I don’t recall if the menu identified these. The food tasted great and the non-plant eater with us enjoyed their food too. The staff were very polite and helpful and the cost of the meal was fair. We shall return again and although I enjoyed the 3 Tier Stand I will order a Thali or a curry next time.

A Spice Sensation - Edit
One of the best Asian dining experiences I have had for a long time. As a party of 3 we shared the tofu tikka on vegan puri tacos, a punjabi channa side dish, a tofu goan green curry and a vegetable dhansak, which we asked to be made vegan, along with some boiled rice and chapatis.
Read moreEach of our dishes were excellent, with such depth in flavour and superb spicing. The goan green curry and tofu tikka tacos were particular highlights. Rice and chapatis were also perfectly cooked.
This really is a fantastic restaurant to visit. The menu is both exciting and creative, but also has a wide variety of traditional dishes available too. They even have vegan wine, which is clearly labelled on the drinks menu, and we each enjoyed a lovely large glass of via alta merlot. Staff were very friendly and the setting within the old theatre was stunning. Highly recommended.
Pros: Excellent food, Great choice, Staff and interior
Cons: Meat

The restaurant had a lot of Vegan options including some we have not seen anywhere else. Service was quick and attentive. Price for both food and drink was very reasonable.

Lots of interesting choices - Edit
I was staying overnight in Harrogate and wanted to try something local rather than a chain. The building is an old theatre, so huge, and easy to get a table. We went on a Saturday night and there was music playing reasonably loudly and glittery walls, so not somewhere for a quiet bite but the atmosphere was nice. There were lots of staff everything was dealt with efficiently.
Read moreLots of clearly marked vegan options with some interesting choices - I was tempted by the Indian nachos, but went for the onion bhaji rings. Byriani had lots of fresh veg in it. Spent more than I was hoping to, but I did accidentally have two large glasses of (vegan) wine.
