Opened July 2014, a vegan restaurant located within walking distance to the old part of the town, the cathedral, and the beach of Portixol. Offers tapas, house-made burgers, a daily changing plate like vish n' chips or chili sin carne, plus raw options and smoothies. Staff speaks Spanish, English, German. MAR 2016 REPORTED SHUT.

Cantina Vegana

I went there once but it was more than enough to make me love it!
The staff was incredibly lovely, the place was so calmed and cozy, a really relaxing atmosphere and the food was amazing! They had boquerones and sobrasada! I took my mom there, she's not a vegan or a vegetarian, she loved it though!

BEST VEGAN KEBAB IN TOWN!!!

I love the Cantina Vegana!

The food is delicious, even non-vegans love to go there.
The veganised spanish tapas are mouth-watering.
But my favourite dish there is the Kebab. I swear I take non-vegan people there and they don´t believe it.
It is soooo good.

Pros: food is excellent, the staff is priceless, really really fair prices!

Cons: sometimes difficult to find a parking, it´s not open every night, the don´t do delivery ;-)

Try the voquerones

Besides their offer of international food (my burger was fantastic), they veganize traditionnal spanish tapas food like sobrasada or boquerones... I was happy as a child.
Also: don't miss the local beers.

Pros: traditional tapas, mallorcan beers, home made cheese

Cons: not the cosiest of interiors

Köstlich!

Sehr freundlicher Service! Das Essen war sehr lecker und sehr ausgiebig! Hier werden 'konventionelle' Menüs veganisiert und das sehr gelungen. Das Restaurant macht einen sauberen und gepflegten Eindruck. Gerne kommen wir wieder. Einziger kleiner 'Kritikpunkt' - es könnte etwas gemütlicher eingerichtet sein. Aber das ist ja immer Geschmacksache...

Das Essen war super, mir jedoch zu viel. Der Preis mehr als in Ordnung. Die Leute sind sehr zuvorkommend und sympathisch. Die Einrichtung im vorderen Bereich kann vielleicht noch verbessert werden, wobei das natürlich Geschmacksache ist.
Die Idee mit dem Wasser finde ich super.
Falls ich wieder mal nach Palma komme, lasse ich mir das Essen hier mit Sicherheit nicht entgehen.

incredible food

I absolutely fell in love with the food and the atmosphere at Cantina Vegana! The food were so unique and delicious, and the live music made the restaurant that much more enjoyable.

Yummy and such great service

Very tasty vegan meat and dairy alternatives so we had a chance to experience Mallorcan specialities. As a result most foods are very rich though there are some lighter alternatives.

We also bought gorgeous croissants for breakfast the next day and also tapas for a picnic. The raw noodles were fabulous.

Dont miss it!

Friendly and serviceminded staff serving great food. Burgers and sandwiches where great. Dont miss this place when in Palma.

100% Vegan in Palma

This restaurant is located in area of town near the new convention center that is being built and near the old part of town. Great menu, great prices, good choices. Dog/animal friendly.

Warm friendly place

Cheerful setting with tapas to try - what a nice touch!
We had raw zucchini spaghetti that was very rich. Vegan sobrasada was very good. Burger was very authentic and large - cheese was little bland, but spread nicely.

Wish I had enough room for dessert - maybe next time!!

best vegan food in town

I have been to the Cantina Vegana at the end of September this year- and I can say it is the best vegan food in town. The food is made with love and the owner of the restaurant has created a pleasant ambience. There is no better retaurant! Personally a recommend the burger with chips... The Restaurant is great- so go and visit and enjoy the food!!!

In love with vishburgers

Me and my husband visited this new restaurant at the beginning of october 2014. We have been to Mallorca a lot of times before and we are very happy that there is now a 100 % vegan restaurant in Palma! We like the concept of the food: you can have smoothies, vegan tapas, raw and glutenfree options and also vegan fast food. The homemade cheeseburgers are super delicous and the vishburgers are to die for - so so yummy!!! The atmosphere is also nice: we love the little trees in the window and the color concept of green, white and red. We will come back for sure :-)
