Ok but expensive - Edit
Paid $15 for a cappuccino and croissant (not vegan). Pretty expensive and the cappuccino they gave me tasted just like drip coffee and wasn’t the best.

Ok if you’re desperate - Edit
There are no vegan options. The vegetarian chili can be ordered without cheese. The hash or avocado toast can be ordered vegan. Very much oriented towards older carnivores.

Great chili!!!! - Edit
I had the vegetarian chili (minus the cheese). It comes with a generous salad and sourdough bread (also vegan). The chili was outstanding with red beans, corn, onion, green pepper, corn and likely tvp. The salad was really good and fresh with romaine, thinly sliced red onion, cucumber, shaved carrot and tomato. I will be back!! Server was also very helpful 😁.

Wish there were more veg options - Edit
We ordered the Skagit Hash *without cheese* and the vegetarian chili *without cheese* in sourdough bowl. They have oatmilk for espresso and coffee. Everything was good, just wish the vegan options were more extensive.

Limited vegan breakfast options - Edit
The service is great and the one breakfast dish (besides oatmeal) was tasty. Wish they’d add more vegan entree and bakery options.

Pretty sparse for vegan options - Edit
The only option for me was a small bowl of chili. It was fine, but not what I wanted. None of their bread or baked goods are vegan.

Happy Tummy - Edit
The breakfast choices are varied and even include Gluten Free waffles and pancakes!!! The Marionberry jam was so delicious that we bought the largest bottle available to take home. This is a popular place, so be sure to sign in as soon as you walk in the door. The folks are friendly even when they are super busy and the food comes in a reasonable time. Substitutions are OK and arranging a vegan or Gluten Free meal is simple:) A huge bonus is the walk-in bakery counter that even has Gluten Free bread! I wish Calico Cupboard was in my hometown and will eat there every time I get up to Anacortes.

Great find in farm country! - Edit
I love this place. Lots of vegetarian option, quite vegan friendly. I had the Skagit Hash, which was delicious - tons of veggies over skillet-fried potatoes. Hubby had the eggplant sandwich, with roasted zucchini & artichoke pesto. The bread was fresh and delicious! Bing smack in the middle of a farming town I was quite surprised. 2 other locations - Anacortes & Mt. Vernon (I haven't tried those locations).
