Disappointing dessert - Edit
We came because of the “please cake” vegan cheesecake, which was served to us frozen solid with a steak knife! They did apologize and took it off our bill, but I wound not recommend making a special trip.
Read moreThe beet salad minus the blue cheese was delicious (if you love arugula) and we enjoyed our NA cocktails.
Pros: Good salad, Nice NA cocktails
Cons: Frozen cheesecake (the only DF sweet), Need a reservation to get a window seat

Delicious "fancy" dinner - Edit
I have been to Nell Thorn twice on separate work trips to La Conner, and both times have been fabulous. The staff are very familiar with vegans, and there are a variety of options on the menu. Salads can be veganized easily and all house made pasta is vegan. I had penne with pesto (already vegan) and a slice of "please cake," their vegan cheesecake, for dessert. I can't wait to go back on my next trip!
