Fresh food, great vibe, best cold coffee drink in town!

I’ve been part of this Southern Nicoya peninsula area now since 2008. I can’t remember when they opened but they have been around for awhile and always with the same high quality for both delicious food and cleanliness of restaurant.

I have always loved their tofu scramble for breakfast and salads 🥗 (or they can make them into a wrap). I believe they make their Chia pudding with coconut milk. Aside from the vegan label for desserts, the menu is not well labeled for vegan but the kitchen knows what vegan means. They can help you.

My husband and I do not live close by so even if we are having breakfast or lunch somewhere else, but it’s kind of close to Cafe Social, we will pilgrimage over there just to get our favorite coffee drink, the “Cafe Loco”. We get ours with double espresso ☕️🤪😝😋 That is pretty postre (dessert) enough for us BUT if we have room, we will also get the raw vegan nut bite. It’s incredible. I don’t know how they do it. It’s a great balance of coconut oil, agave, probably carob with nut crust and? that just melts in your mouth and is so satisfying. If we have our reusable “triffin” with us, we often load it up to take them home.

Cafe social continues to be one of my absolute favorite restaurants in all of Santa Teresa, Mal País, Montezuma, Cabuya, Playa Hermosa and Manzanillo.

Pros: Great food , Vibey. Always good music on. A/C interior. , Vegan nut bites are amazing
