The Best Vegan Brekkie - Edit
Vegan options clearly marked. Breakfast, stack, sandwich, soup or mushrooms on toast. Vegan milkshakes. All for a good not for profit cause too. Not far from slab square.

Nice place, good breakfast - Edit
Pleasant café located near the middle of Nottingham. Not a massive selection but the vegan breakfast I had (available until 3pm) was hearty and filling. A range of soft and hot drinks are available (no alcohol) and some desserts, one or two vegan.

Great vegan options - Edit
So good I have been back a couple of times. Great sized portions and plenty of vegan options to choose from. Only complaint would be too few vegan options on the cake counter.

Great breakfast - Edit
Read moreLovely vegan breakfast (see photo, the sausage is mixed veg rather than fake meat) , well prepared, hot and quick service. Mel our server was friendly, chatty and attentive, premises is clean with a good atmosphere. Menu offers soya and oat milks, vegan milkshakes, cakes, lots of vegan breakfast options and the soup is always GF and vegan.

Great Vegan Fry - Edit
Title sums it up. The fry is definitely one of the better vegan frys I've tried. There were some other vegan options too, so you won't be limited to just the fry. They even do a vegan biscoff cupcake, but these were sold out when I was there :(

A little underwhelming - Edit
I’d heard great things about cafe sobar but was left underwhelmed after dining here. I had ordered the jackfruit panini but was first given a tuna panini which I obviously sent straight back. When the right meal came it was okay but nothing amazing. I asked if they had any vegan mayo and they got me the big tub from the kitchen but it seemed to have gone off.

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Very nice - Edit
There were many vegan and vegetarian options, the staff was very friendly. I got a student discount, so that's a plus😉. You can have water for free (tap). Not too expensive

Overpriced bland vegan breakfast - Edit
For £7.95 you get 1 watery mushroom, deep fried flavourless tofu, chilli diced potatoes that again we're bland and lacking chilli and a dollop of unappetising wilted spinach. Side of toast came with butter.

Cons: Expensive for what it is.

Sunny spacious cafe - Edit
Lovely warm and sunny cafe in an old banking hall, with plenty of space and friendly staff. Decent vegan menu of burgers, wraps, falafel and cooked vegan breakfast. Some options have veggie/vegan variations so always specify at the counter. Soya milk available for lattes etc. One vegan cake (they showed me the ingredients) but it isn’t labelled as such.

Cons: Occasional mix ups so be careful
