Love the atmosphere of Cafe Sasso. I was looking at getting a smoothie with soy milk but just to double check asked if there was any yogurt in the smoothie and a worker in the back spoke up and said “if you’re vegan it has gelatin” apparently the smoothie is premaid in a container they just blend it with your preferred liquid.

Excellent cappuccino & vegan goodies - Edit
I was disappointed when I learned that Red Fern was closed on a Sunday but then discovered that Cafe Sasso offers a selection of RF’s baked goods. This was a happy event because the soy cappuccino I had was really excellent (I find that many places over heat the alternative milks giving them a burnt flavor).

This cafe is located on Park Ave in the restaurant district. When I entered it, there were several people parked with their books and laptops hanging around taking advantage of the large windows, tables, couches and outdoor seats. Nice lounge atmosphere. Prices are a bit high but most people there seemed to buy a drink or pastry and hang out for a while. I noticed they put lots of ice in their drinks when you order them, tell them you want less ice and more drink when making cold drinks.
