Very pricey and small portion - Edit
Unfortunately, I wasn't as convinced as the other commentators.
Read moreThere is only one vegan dish on the main menu and it is quite expensive (20€).
It was very good and a real eye-catcher, no question. but we didn't even begin to get full... (Maybe we're too German for that?)
I noticed that most French people still don't speak English. Regardless of the age of the waiters. Of course, this makes our vacation much more difficult, since we only know the most important words and expressions.
The ambiance was nice and the waiters tried hard to take our order even though there was a language barrier.
I personally would not recommend the restaurant. Especially because there is a restaurant with poke bowls right next to it😉
Unfortunately we haven't managed to go there yet, but we still hope that we will.
Pros: Ambiance , Waiters, Look of the dish
Cons: Too pricey , Small size, Language barrier

Amazing risotto - Edit
Français plus bas
Read moreI don’t expect a lot from restaurants that have only one vegan option but this one was surprisingly delicious ! The risotto had very interesting flavours, it’s not just rice and random veggies.
Except that, the staff is nice but overwhelmed. The prices are also quite high. But I’d go back for that risotto.

Delicious - Edit
I had a tomato cold soup and a vegan risotto. Both were very good.
Read moreToo bad they don't have many vegan options. Other than the dishes I had, they had only one more salad.
They had nothing vegan in the menu of the day (which is cheaper than the regular menu)
Pros: Fresh, Delicious
Cons: Not many vegan options

Assiette vegan était parfait! - Edit
I loved the assiette vegan (vegan plate). They make it with whatever they have available that’s fresh, so it’s a bit of a gamble, but the chef knows what they’re doing. My dish was super filling because it used a lot of lentils, but also included some lovely veggies (both cooked and raw). It was a really enjoyable with a location ideal for people-watching.

Delicious French cooking - Edit
The Assiette Vegan is clearly marked and the staff understand what vegan is. The dish changes based on what’s in season but it was very delicious and made me feel like I got to try French cooking. Husband also had a terrific, not vegan meal.

Good vegan plate - Edit
It’s not easy to find vegan food in Avignon and after a day’s worth of travel I didn’t feel like explaining vegan food and asking about options. I checked out many restaurants during my walk through the old town and this was the only one with a clearly marked vegan dish. The vegan plate doesn’t look like much, it basically seems that the chef threw in every vegetable they could think of in the bowl, but it’s all seasoned well and super filling. Bonus points for a very friendly service and a beautiful location. All in all a nice dinner on my layover in Avignon.
