Nice coffee and vegan options - Edit
There are options to have certain meals vegan. It's written on the menu which meals can be made vegan, but you have to tell them you want it vegan.

Great cozy space. English menu that has a few options marked "Vegan Option", note that this does NOT mean the meal is Vegan by default but that you can request a vegan version of it. I made the mistake of ordering it without mentioning the vegan part thinking that the text "Vegan Option" means that it's the vegan option on their menu.

I had a lovely lunch, they had two things labeled on the menu, one had honey in it so I opted the for the other one. I had a nice smoothie, apple, banana and soy milk. I would suggest checking that the smoothie of the day doesn’t have honey in it. Good that it is mentioned in the menu.
Read moreWhat looked like a brownie was referred to as a scone, which is the texture it turned out to be. A tad hard. There are lots of baking options for eat in or takeaway. Nice friendly staff.

Nice place for breakfast - Edit
Nice café with combined shop in central Beppu. It's a great taste for having breakfast, wirh different options like japanese rice balls or omelette. I came on a sunday morning and it was quite busy, several people had to wait, as they di not have that many tables. The staff was, however, very kind and friendly and the food was surely worth waiting. It is nothing extremely surprising on question of taste but it tasted good and everything was well seasoned and delicious.

Read moreThey had some regular dishes that they can also make vegan but also some dishes that were vegan by default. They also have vegetarian options. They have also meat dishes for company that is maybe not vegan oriented. The taste of the food was not blowing me totally away but good and the store is really cute so definitely a good option if you need some breakfast, lunch or late lunch. Improvement could be, to have also an English menu available by default for international customers.
