Deserves 5 stars - Edit
This place is truly incredible. It’s so cozy, the staff is so nice, and the vegan Scottish breakfast was probably the highlight of my trip food wise. I’d definitely recommend checking this place out for a great cup of coffee and a full Scottish breakfast which is hard to find elsewhere. It’s a really cute quirky place and if definitely go back if I was ever back in Scotland.

Wonderful cafe with wonderful vegan options! - Edit
We stopped here for lunch after the restaurant we had planned to visit was only open for dinner. The parking lot is small and was full when we arrived so we went to the petrol station across the street to fill up. We returned and there were a few open spots, fortunately.
Read moreI was so happy to see that a full vegan highland breakfast was available so I could try it as this was our first visit to Scotland. I can say that I was not disappointed! We also ordered the Goddess Bowl and that was quite delicious, as well.
Staff was very friendly and the cafe has a nice vibe. The only downside is the small parking lot!
Pros: Great vegan options, Friendly and helpful staff, Cool vibe
Cons: Small parking lot

Loch Ness goldmine - Edit
Breakfast was incredible, homemade haggis, smashed avo, sweet potato hummus. Thick toast, homemade beans, Bombay potatoes, spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes. I am salivating just typing this. Couldn't finish it all. They were also great with my son, and the other kids who came in. Even if I was in Inverness I would travel to this place again

Fantastic Vegan Breakfast - Edit
Truly excellent food and coffee, worth the wait. Vegan breakfast with black pudding and haggis really incredible. Sad to say this but organisation could be better. No website or up to date menus on FB, making visiting with a fussy non-vegan stressful. In the restaurant no menus on tables, but written on wall hung blackboards at the back of the room in tiny letters. Then no one available to greet you on arrival and a sign saying ‘wait here’ leaving a big queue of confused people who can’t see a menu.

Cons: Menu mystery , Not enough tables outside, Stressful welcome

Pretty cafe with delicious food - Edit
Really good food and coffee, and such a lovely place to sit, either inside or outside. There’s a range of vegan cakes too: probably about half the menu is vegan. A must visit when you’re in Drumnadrochit.

Amazing Breakfast & Lovely Atmosphere - Edit
We came here on a rainy day and the place was not crowded at all. The entire restaurant looks so pretty and cozy and we absolutely loved the staff & atmosphere. We had vegan breakfast and a vegan toast, which were amazing. The highlight was this flower-like tea I can't remember what it was called.

Cafe Eighty 2 - Edit
In this cosy, little Scottish cafe they serve the best vegan breakfast I’ve ever tasted. Well seasoned and a supreme delight for the tastebuds. Lot’s of savoury and sweet vegan options. The vegan scones are a must try. To top all of this, the staff is friendly and helpfull. If you are near Loch Ness, Eighty 2 is a must stop. You might not see Nessie but this cafe is an absolute monster and I mean this in the most positive way possible.

Tasty roadside cafe - Edit
Named after the road it sits next to, this is a sweet cafe with delicious veggie and vegan options near Loch Ness. We went for brunch, where I got the veggie quinoa bowl and my partner got the smashed avocado on toast as well as the beetroot juice, all of which were scrumptious. The inside has a mostly cute vibe (though some odd touches), there is great outdoor seating, and the staff were super friendly.

Vegan highland breakfast - Edit
This place is great! Well worth going out of your way for their outstanding vegan highland breakfast. It includes very good vegan sausages (pork style), black pudding, white pudding or haggis style sausage, roasted potatoes and tomatoes, baked beans in tomato sauce (home made!), guacamole, thick cut grilled bread, buttery spread and mushrooms. See the photos above.
Read moreThey also have a great selection of teas and coffees with all sorts of plant based milks, smoothies and fresh juices. There is also a selection of cakes and sweets. I imagine these change regularly, but on our visit there weren’t many vegan ones. I had a delicious blueberry scone with margarine and jam, and a pot of tea with oat milk.

Lovely wee cafe - Edit
Very friendly wee cafe with a variety of options. We both had the full vegan highland breakfast which felt like a right treat. I particular liked that they included proper beans and black pudding which I have never had included in a vegan “full” breakfast before!

Lovely cafe with lots of vegetarian and vegan options. We stopped by here for late breakfast/early lunch. I had the vegetarian breakfast which was exquisite! It came with homemade baked beans, which were quite a treat. Price was adequate. Staff was very nice. I liked the vibe of the place. There is a little "book share" corner too! Definitely stop by here if you're in the area.

Lovely staff, great menu and really tasty vegan cakes! Although not vegan exclusive, I felt it might as well have been as there was a full vegan menu with more choice than many vegan only eateries. Try the lemon and walnut 'cheesecake'!

Absolutely Incredible! - Edit
The highland breakfast at Cafe Eighty2 was by far the best we had during our time in Scotland. They also had vegan scones and butter and an entire vegan dessert case (we tried a blueberry crumble and a chocolate truffle tart.) The staff is simply awesome and the cafe is cozy with beautiful views. Highly recommend!!
