Would be 5* if I could! - Edit
Don't be put off by the fact these guys serve non vegan, the vegan brunches we ordered were huge and tasty! Never seen such big servings of tofu scramble, the pic shows the scrambled tofu breakfast, the tofu hash and an additional portion of hash browns (utterly unnecessary in hindsight!!) Great service, piping hot and a thoughtful menu 👍🏻

It's a shame this place always closes so early otherwise I would use it more often. They always have terrific vegan options and do amazing vegan nights in the summer and at Xmas. Never the same boring options you get everywhere else like nut roasts and fruit salad; Cafe 50 actually offer different things and try out new ones. If you're going to Yeovil, head out early and make a stop here.

This cafe is brilliant. There are fantastic vegan and vegetarian options, they have a full understanding of dietary needs and cater accordingly. The staff are friendly and accommodating - the cafe is always busy. I personally don't have an issue with them doing non veg options because it means my family can eat together which is a good thing.

This little café with friendly and efficient staff is a gem in the heart of Yeovil. The delicious food includes breakfast options such as grilled veggie muffin or tofu breakfast scramble as well as paninis, bean stew, falafel salad and specials. Soy milk is on offer for hot drink, fresh fruit and veg juices are also available and to satisfy a sweet tooth, there are also some cake options...what more could you ask for?

I love this café so much. It has so many vegan and veggie options. Every time I go I seem to find something new - recently I had leek & parsnip sausages with vegetable rice, a maple waffle and a veggie sauce, which was actually delicious. They have scrambled tofu or a veggie muffin on the breakfast menu as well as yummy things like mushroom, cranberry and chestnut tart. They also have vegan cakes and ice-creams. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would give 5 stars if I could !

Highly catered to vegans, they always have a TON of clearly Labeled vegan (and vegetarian) options, the vegan ones including vegan ice cream, cake, pies, flapjacks and for mains all day breakfasts, BLT, a daily special, sandwiches, cottage pie, quesadillas and the list goes on. They also serve juices and smoothies as well as shakes. Highly recommend it, as there isn't much else if anything at all nearby. Also VERY fair prices for unbelievable portions and lovely helpful staff. We had a vegan breakfast and cranberry chestnut tart and four flavours of vegan ice cream and would be back again every day if possible!

Great options for all! - Edit
This cafe is a great place in town that has loads of vegan options labelled clearly on the menu, and also gluten free options. The vegan meals included a tofu breakfast, falafel, shepherds pie, paninis, quesadillas and sandwiches. There was even dairy free ice-cream though the portions were generous so I couldn't manage dessert.

For Yeovil, my hometown which I thought was not catering for vegans well, this is a fabulous find and I would recommend it to anyone!

This little gem is a rare find in this area. Vegan friendly with a selection of vegan choices on the menu (mains and lighter snacks) including a vegan all day breakfast with delicious scrambled tofu. Vegetarian choices also. Good choice of drinks inc. freshly made juices and smoothies. Homemade vegan cakes and vegan ice cream. More spacious than it looks from the outside with friendly, helpful staff giving excellent service. Good portion sizes, freshly prepared and good value for money. Would obviously prefer vegan only cafe but Café 50 is providing an excellent compromise in an area with little provision for a growing population of vegans. :)
