I ate at this location a bunch of time when this was still By Chloe’s, it was always amazing. This Beatnic thing, on the other hand, is just beyond disappointing.
Read moreThe fries used to be my fav thing to eat here because they’re air fried. The fries I had today were awful. How do you even mess up fries 😭 Very dry and had some weird crust. The burger I ordered arrived at my table barely warm and so dry (the patty and the bun!) that I had to drench the whole thing in the dipping sauce the fries came with to be able to eat it.
I really hate leaving bad reviews for vegan places but if I wasn’t vegan and ate here I would probably never go vegan😒Please go somewhere else if you’re a new vegan, I promise there’s amazing vegan food at other places.

We were very excited to order from Beatnic but unfortunately the food was very disappointing. The air fried fries were soggy and seemed over cooked. The chicky deluxe sandwich was good but the 2 burgers we had, had buns that seemed like they had been frozen and didn’t thaw out fully because they were rock hard, and we ended up just having to take the patty (which was good) off and just eat that by itself. We had 2 orders of the Mac n cheese but the Mac didn’t seem to be fully cooked because it was a little tough to chew thru.

I went in with low expectations because I was really craving a burger at the time. But I got gluten free Mac and cheese, a kale Caesar salad, and a cookies and cream brownie. Oh wow! They were amazing and dense and oh so filling. My husband had a chicken burger and my sister in law had a wrap and regular Mac and cheese. Their shitaki bacon crumbles are out of this world. I wish I got more to go because it was so worth it. It was a little pricey but it was enough for 2 meals for me. Highly recommend coming here and to their other locations. It wasn't crowded and the service was quick. You definitely need to stop here!

We went twice to two different locations, I preferred the friendly service and atmosphere at the Flatiron location. We had very tasty falafel wraps, a lovely fresh salad and a burger and cookie that were OK. Good value for money, especially if you’re in a hurry!

Read moreThe restaurant and concept was cute, fresh, and inviting but the food was just OK. Overall, I felt like this was a healthy looking vegan restaurant with unhealthy vegan junk food options, like putting lipstick on a vegan pig.
Anyway, I asked the employee who took my order what the most popular items were on the menu and ordered a few of them. The taco salad seemed oily to me and a little bland, I added salt to help. Since I wasn't really feeling the taco salad I decided not to finish it... In fact, I'd probably never order the taco salad again. However, I did really like the artichoke dip, which was very tasty and loaded with nutritional yeast. This is something I'd order again, but in limited quantities. I can't believe the guy working the register told me this was super healthy, I felt my waistline grow as I ate the artichoke dip, hahaha!

So I had to come back and give another review after I tried the bomb kale salad I believe crispy chk’n and the dessert. I walked to the one in flat iron and first let me say the lady there was so pleasant it was refreshing to see her like this with everyone she encountered. Anyway back to food I was only going to eat half the salad but I couldn’t stop it was so good. Nothing like a good salad and the way they make their fried tempeh is pretty amazing. Yes i know not the healthiest but I’m on vacay and we don’t have these in N.Cali. I also took 2 slices of cake to take back on plane home with me. I asked her which was better and she said the banana is ok but she liked the chocolate swirl one she said it was really moist like a good cake should be. Well I got both and she wasn’t lying. The banana with walnuts and chocolate was good but not nearly as good as the chocolate swirl. I threw that puppy in the microwave for 20secs and had my tea and was in cake heaven. Kind of happy don’t have this in my city I would never lose this weight I’m trying to lose starting now.

By Chloe offer vegan comfort food that I always find comforting, and I always enjoy going to their venues. This one has some seats to eat your food (some By Chloe places are much smaller). The prices are not necessarily cheap--vegan food rarely is--and the food is not super-healthy (though much healthier than a carnivorous place).

Stopped in for lunch. This place is small and bustling. I tried their "chicken" salad which was delicious and filling. (Romain lettuce, kale, carrots, red cabbage, edamame, almonds, mandarins and the tempeh chicky). My friends ate burgers and the mac 'n cheese. I can testify to its yummyness! We took some cookies and cider donuts to go - divine.
