Not the best option - Edit
We ordered the Rad Na noodles, which were extremely sweet and not particularly nice. We also tried the vegetarian Pad Thai, which had an unexpected sweet and sour flavor. Overall, there are better-tasting options elsewhere.

Bland food - Edit
Two of us ordered veggie drunken noodles. We were asked twice of we wanted spicy and we said yes both times. It arrived with zero spice and zero flavour. Just completely bland. Also, it was made with mama noodles 😕 I ordered stir fried veg too and the problem was the same - completely bland and no flavour. Big disappointment.

Okay food - Edit
We had a fried rice and a pad thai. The fried rice was okey but not the best and the pad thai has not a lot of vegetable. The staff is friendly and know what vegan means.

Decent Food & Fun Vibe - Edit
I was staying in a hotel very close to here and needed something quick as I had my animals with me. Sadly I couldn't eat in as the vibe looked really fun and there were lots of westerners there enjoying the atmosphere. I got pad Thai and spring rolls to take away both of which I thought were pretty good.
Read moreThere are a couple of pages in the menu of vegetarian options and staff seemed to understand vegan perfectly.
I would visit again if I was in Ayuthaya.
Pros: Lot of vegan options, Cheap, Good central location
Cons: Vegan options aren't specifically marked as such, Sells meat, dairy and eggs

Great food and location 👌 - Edit
Came across this little gem whilst walking past the wat just opposite the road. The thai spicy basil tofu was lovely, I also had the swamp cabbage which was equally nice even though it sounds awful 😆 staff greeted me with a beaming smile and the food was quick to be served. No complaints from me ! I left a very happy chap indeed! 😁

Good food and beautiful view - Edit
This place is directly located in front of one of the beautiful tempels in Ayutthaya.
Read moreThere are many vegetarian options in the menu which are also vegan or can be made vegan by saying “no egg”. They speak some words English.
I had the pad thai as well as one of their great fruit juices. Everything tasted good, but I definitely had better pad thai during our trip through Thailand.
If you’re in Ayutthaya you should definitely go to this place, eat something and enjoy the view while you’re doing so.

Sitting outside in the restaurant you have view to the Wat. The staff is friendly and can speak little English. I had the swamp cabbage with rice and for dessert sticky rice with mango.

Simple, easy to get vegan - Edit
Offers a small vegetarian/vegan menu. As other have said, ask for no egg to make vegan. Staff was delighted to do so, and even said he would add more tofu. Dishes are small yet still filling. A bit greasy, but quite cheap.

Open late with vegan options - Edit
The restaurant is ideally located in front of the ruins and is open 'late' for the city. It is one of the only vegan options after 6 pm. The restaurant advertises a vegetarian menu and the staff is aware of veganism so you can order vegetarian dishes with no eggs and dairy. The vegetarian menu is not huge (10 dishes max.) but the food is tasty (I tried the pad thai and the spicy tofu with thai basil) and cheap (50 bahts for a fair quantity of food). The place is pleasant and clean.

Swamp cabbage :) - Edit
Came for evening meal - it's open until about 9pm, which is handy as other veggie places aren't!!
Read moreHas a couple of pages on the menu of vegetarian items. I had the tofu with basil, which was delicious. It's served rice rice and only 50 baht!! Also couldn't resist trying the swamp cabbage, out of curiosity! I think it is the same as morning glory, or some other greens. I was expecting just plain stir fried veg, but was very tasty, flavoured with soy, chilli and garlic
Veg spring rolls were really measly, so I personally wouldn't bother ordering them!! There are a few other rice and noodle dishes available for vegetarians/vegans
Location on the map isn't quite right - the restaurant is opposite Wat Ratchaburana
Pros: Cheap, Several veg options

Open late, served with smiles. - Edit
A charming restaurant with some decorative paintings, Burinda is not Vegan restaurant, but it is open until 9 pm, that's better than Jay restaurants closing at 3 pm.
Read moreI've ask vegan food, no eggs and I've choosed the vegetarian Pad Thaï (50 bath). The owner asked me if I wanted tofu instead of eggs. It was not spicy, if you like that way, and it was a good pad thaï. I've taken a coconut juice, (it's coconut water) it was fresh and tasty! For desert I've tried their mango sticky rice, not the best mango but still a tasty dessert. I stayed until past the closing time, the owner was gone but there was still an employee who was eating, so it was still possible to pay the bill.
Pros: 2 pages of thaï vegetarian food, vegan vegetables
