More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
Because I love animals!! It's pretty much that simple - I don't want animals to suffer just so that I can eat certain foods, when there are so many amazing cruelty free alternatives.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I have used the website for a while to find places to eat, especially when I go travelling, so want to be able to help other people as much as I've been helped!
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Mexico is amazing! I would love to travel to India, Cambodia, Costa Rica, the Galapagos, Egypt, Brazil, the Maldives, Turkey....so many places!
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Typical vegan, I love chickpeas, beans, lentils etc, especially in tagines, curries, stews, hummus. Cauliflower is great, and have been enjoying using it to make "creamy, cheesy" sauces to eat with pasta and green veg. Also, delicious roasted! My boyfriend is a baker, so I get plentiful supplies of freshly baked sourdough bread, which is great with nut butters, marmite, strawberry jam and of course, baked beans :)
