Disappointing - Edit
This was my first time eating in Burger King in over 15 years. We got a Whopper meal and a Royale meal.
Read moreThe Royale was okay. Soft, kind of chicken-y, I've had better but I've also definitely had worse.
The Whopper was awful. Lukewarm, chewy, very bitter tomatoes, it felt like a badly made TVP burger from 10 years ago.
The chips were very salty and tough. They felt reheated.
The drinks were interesting. It was my first time using a Freestyle machine and I was very excited to see Mezzo Mix available there as I always drink it whenever we visit Germany.
Pros: Fast service, Freestyle machine, Mezzo Mix
Cons: Whopper wasn't very good, Chips were too salty

I haven't eaten Burger King in a very long time, a good while before being vegan.

Me and GC decided to try both vegan options as meals, the whopper plant based meal and the vegan royal meal. The freestyle fizzydrink mix machine was interesting and I got to try some new flavors.
Me and GC shared both meals and they were both really bad. The whopper was very chewy and reminded me more of eating a bad version of vegan scampi than burger plus it was tasteless.
The vegan royal was really bland and just seemed to have a lot of mayonnaise to cover that up. The chips were not only tiny for a large meal but they tasted reheated and like they hadn't been cooked full the first time either.
Both meals seemed to cool down very fast as well even though it wasn't cold in the restaurant. Overall the price wasn't bad for less than £30 but I would rather skip a meal than eat here again...
