Sándwich delicioso

El sándwich vegano está buenísimo. Repetimos al día siguiente incluso. También probamos el ceviche vegano, que no estaba mal. Las vistas son buenas, junto al río, y el personal agradable como en todo Costa Rica.

Poor-quality

Ordered hummus, which was a tiny, tasteless dip with some dry crackers (instead of bread).
But the worst was the service - not friendly at all - and in addition really pricy.

Variety to choose & all good

We went there twice and tried a lot (salad, vegan sandwich, v.cheviche, hummus) and it was all delicious.

Overpriced and flavourless

Had a range of clearly labelled vegan options, but unfortunately the food was very bland and pretty expensive.

Save your money and don’t eat here

After reading the bad reviews here in happycow, we still wanted to give this place a chance. Spoiler: it went wrong. We had the vegan ceviche as a starter and it wasn’t great, but the worse part came after. I ordered the vegan burger and I was surprised that it didn’t have any sauce: just lettuce, tomato and the chickpea burger. But the worse was the first (and only) bite, the burger was very thin and hard that I couldn’t even eat it. The waitress was very nice and took the burger to bring the falafel. The “falafel” was made exactly from the same chickpea dough. It had no flavour and was covered in oil. It didn’t have any spices or anything else besides chickpeas.

We paid 48€ for a starter, two plates and water.

Summary: just don’t go. Don’t even consider giving them a chance because you will leave the restaurant hungry and angry.

Pros: Nice location

Cons: Bad food

Nice view, bad food

Cafe was recommended to us by our taxi driver and when we saw they had vegan options so we were hooked.
But I honestly have to say, the food was bad. Vegan pasta was super salty (couldnt findih it because of that), the vegan sandwich was covered in oil. We paid a little more than 30 euros including drinks and service fee, but money was not worth it...

Pros: View is nice

Cons: Too much salt and oil

Views were better than the food

They didn't put much effort into the food. pasta was given flavor by covering it with an excess of a soy-like sauce (making it almost look like a noodle soup). The bowl did not have much taste, although the accompanied dip sauces were ok.

HAS vegan options

Got the garbanzos with rice The portions were unbelievably small. Mostly just a salad. Be ready to like eat a whole bunch of plain vegetables. The price afterwards makes the review

Pros: Has some vegan options , Clearly labeled , Nice ambiance

Cons: Very expensive , Very small portions

A few vegan options, pretty good!

There's a few menu options that are easily identified as vegan. Had a vegan ceviche, which was pretty decent. The only place in the area where we found soy or almond milk options for batidos/smoothies. Nice patio on the waterfront.

Pros: Vegan options, Soy milk smoothies, Nice view
