Teas vegan, milkshake not!

Had one of the bubble teas, all of which are listed on the menu as vegan. They were reasonably tasty and the server helpfully offered tasters of their new flavour and the bubble types.
The milkshakes however are not vegan despite the description above. Apparently there is a protein in the creamer which is milk-derived.
