Good bagels // decent vegan cream cheese - Edit
The everything bagel I ordered was really good and soft. The vegan cream cheese was very cashew-forward with a bit of a liquid smoke taste or tamari. It was good overall! Just a little basic.

Read moreI placed a simple order for a plain bagel with a very specific request: please put the cream cheese in a separate container. When I picked it up and got home, I realized they had completely forgotten the cream cheese—my only additional item.
Frustrated but understanding, I drove back for a second time. I politely made my way to the front, explained the mistake, and the gentleman handed me the cream cheese. (Yes, I should’ve double-checked at this point—but I didn’t.)
Once again, I got home only to discover they had given me the wrong cream cheese. So I made a third trip back. And instead of owning up to the mistake and fixing it, the moment I raised my voice slightly out of understandable frustration, they threatened to call the cops on me.
Three trips. One simple order. Multiple errors. Zero accountability.
Go to Big Apple Bagel instead—seriously.

Vegan bagels and vegan shmear - Edit
We tried the vegan shmear with an everything bagel and Za'atar bagel. Don't forget the pickled onions, yum! Their bagels are very chewy (in a good way), traditional style bagels. They're so delicious and all are vegan except for the parmesan bagel. The vegan shmear is cashew-based, not soy or oat milk. It's very good. We'll definitely be back whenever we're in the area.

Most delicious bagels in Traverse city with Vegan options! - Edit
They have a veggie sandwich that can be made vegan with their vegan spread & it’s mouth watering good. Though it runs a little more on the expensive side, it was so worth it for the sandwich. They had 2 vegan spreads when I went: a Mediterranean flavor and a regular cashew spread. The cashew one was delicious, though pretty pricey to get on its own

This isn't a vegan only bagel shop, but they have what tastes like homemade vegan cream cheese. It was pretty good on my everything bagel to go. Quick service also.
