Cute little ice cream shop near Harajuku. Serves vegan ice cream, coffee, and small food dishes. All Vegan. Didn't get a to try the food but the ice cream was delicious! Great pit stop after shopping in Harajuku.
A nice peaceful break from the craziness of Harajuku. Brown Sugar is a tiny shop that seemed to only have ice cream, cupcakes and coffee but that was enough for a nice afternoon tea. Soy coffee was very good and cupcake tasty.
A short walk from the Harajuku area, Brown Sugar 1st serves a variety of vegan cakes and ice cream of different flavors. The ice cream cone is not vegan but is organic. The vegan cake with vanilla cream was good.
As mentioned before, the ice cream is a little flaky. I had the chocolate mint, and it was refreshing and nice! It seems like now (December 2016) they do not have any sofas and popcorn which I was kind of looking forward to, but they have a tiny shop section with a bunch of discounted items. There is no seating either. It's a little out of the way, but I think it's worth it. The ice cream itself was a great deal, as it was ¥100 per scoop! Would come back due to the cheapness :)
It's a small shop on the back side of Harajuku and they offer soda and ice creams all made with some sort of coconut material.
The vegan ice creams are bit flakey and does not have the creamy consistency and you might be disappointed if you have been eating some delicious vegan ice creams from abroad.
The concept is healthy and they seem to use good material and its with checking out. But for the taste wise, I get mixed feelings with the cost and what I am getting.
The vinegar drink was refreshing during the summer time and some of the items off the shelves were pretty tempting.
Please do check it out and try some flavors before purchasing :)
This is a cute little place, good for when you get your sweet cravings. It sells soda, ice cream (made from coconut milk), popcorn, and coconut oil. There aren't really any seats.
I tried the mint chocolate chip, the chocolate nut ice cream, and the berry soda; both were tasty and enjoyable. The ice cream texture was a cross between ice cream and sorbet.
