Great impossible burger - Edit
You can get a great impossible burger without cheese and aioli. They seasoned it well and chargrilled it. They also have a coconut curry on the starters menu but I didn’t get a chance to try it. It was a perfect meal after a long day of driving!

Great Vibe, plenty of bricks - Edit
Vegans and vegetarians aren’t the primary customer for this place, but all the food is incredibly well prepared and the vibe is incredible. I got the stir fry and with their pear infused teriyaki sauce and it tasted wonderful. More importantly, every bite was cooked perfectly. You can tell their chef takes pride in every dish they cook.

Great small plates, no vegan entrees - Edit
Brickroom has a beautiful dining room and great atmosphere, and it's quite possible to have a lovely vegan meal there if you order a few small plates. I love the baked olives and the almonds, and they make the most beautiful fruit side I've EVER seen at a restaurant if you're there for breakfast. With an order of avocado toast, it would be a very nice breakfast indeed. They don't have a specific menu for vegans unfortunately, and the entrees all have some kind of animal product in them at this time.

Great for Vegetarians - Edit
I had the Poboy sandwich which is encrusted with Parmesan. I’m a vegetarian and I didn’t ask for it to be made vegan, so I’m not sure if it can be. But I think they would just have to leave off the cheese. They also have small plates and several are vegan. We had the potstickers which were very tasty. There is avocado toast and several other vegan choices in the small plate section. The service was great.

Delicious vegan options - Edit
Brickroom in Ashland is one of the few places in town with myriad vegan options.
Read moreThe atmosphere is wonderful, the setting gorgeous, and the staff very attentive. Of the main dishes, only one is vegetarian, and it can be prepared vegan. Of the small plates, however, there are many vegan options, all delicious: avocado toast, potstickers, french fries, olives, and almonds. Many other small plates are vegetarian, and several -- such as the flat bread and blackened broccoli and cauliflower -- can be made vegan.
The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, so asking for something to be prepared vegan is welcomed. It's a great place to share a lot of small plates...and the outdoor patio is wonderful if weather permits!
Pros: many vegetarian options, vegan options, staff helpful to vegans
Cons: only one vegetarian entree, none vegan, only small plates are vegan, must request some vegan options
