Magnificent vegan sushi! - Edit
I’ve never been much of a sushi lover, but this restaurant just changed my mind. Exceptionally good sushi with the most amazing tastes. We ordered the introduction plate with different sushi and it was an adventure. Would definitely go back. #Veganuary

We had a sushi selection/a tasting menu for a nice dinner. Few things were awesome, most of the things tasted odd or the consistency was weird and some strange combinations. In the end of the meal, the feeling was "thanks, no more please".

Creative and tasty vegan sushi - Edit
We tried the lunch special (soup and main) and 2 other rolls, the Maki Char sui and Oriental crispy. (We wanted to try the “Thai Curry in one bite” but they were out so we got the oriental crispy). The crispy roll was not our favorite. We don’t typically go for fried rolls, but we got it because it’s popular. We both really liked the maki char sui and highly recommend it. This is a great place for lunch or dinner and would like to come back on our next trip to Paris.

This restaurant was one of the absolute highlights of Paris. The sushi is delectable! Amazing combinations of ingredients and flavors. We tried the tasting menu and several other rolls. Everything was delicious. There was also a great appetizer with seitan. We tried several delicious cocktails, the chocolate pot dessert, and a dessert cocktail, and everything was perfect! Great service and quick to investigate and explain any potential allergies. I love the outdoor seating on the quiet street. Wonderful ambiance and service! This place is 10/10 for sure!

We have gone a few time and some dishes were good and some not so much. This establishment is also on the pricey side so you would expect all the dishes to be of a good quality. Some sushi the rice was hard and uneatable. On the other hand the ramen and katsudon were okay.

Read moreFirstly, I must say that everything - from the online booking request and confirmation process, getting in and being seated as well as being served quite quickly - went extremely well. This restaurant is super organized and professional with regards to kitchen, product and service standards.
The sushi, wine and beer we had were very good, the desert peacan-coffee mochi was adorable. Also all the cocktails that were prepared by the bartender looked gorgeous!
If you are looking for some decent food in one of the hip quarters of Paris, you should definitely not miss this restaurant.
However, not 5 but 4 stars for me. The place is rather expensive and does not offer comfortable seating due to lack of space - space being very expensive in Paris.
Service team: very friendly but appeared to me rather professional than passionate.
All in all: I was content with the overall experience but it did not strike me to the fullest. However, thanks for having me😄

I’m glad we tried this place. The décor and service were pleasant, and the sushi we ordered was tasty. I think if I loved sushi, I’d give it 5 stars, but I’m not partial to it in any way. The dish you MUST ORDER: panko seitan. The seitan was tender and toothsome, and the panko breading was crispy and delicate, evidence of being fried to perfection. We were talking about it for days afterward.

My husband surprised me with a dinner at Breathe for Valentine's day and it was one of the best vegan sushi that I ever had. Beautiful to see and also good! I really loved the seitan panko and the inari mango-tuna (the last one pleasantly surprised also my husband that is sceptic about vegan food and not a fun of tofu). I also tried a cocktail, the Peanut Russian, which was very good. For dessert we had the peanut and coffee mochi (it was suggested with Peanut Russian) and the chocolate mousse. I wasn't expecting the mousse to be spicy, I really loved it! The service was excellent and they even offered us a free shot at the end of the dinner. A Menu translated in English is available.

Nous avons pris un grand bol de ramen et des makis, ainsi qu'un petit katsudon, bol de riz en sauce avec une omelette de Papondu. Les produits étaient frais et bons. Malgré tout, le goût restait un peu "plat", les arômes manquaient un peu de richesse. J'avoue avoir été déçue compte tenu de mes attentes. 😭

Read moreRamen broth is light, slightly lack the umami I expect, missing the 美味しい/oishi punch. There’s also pickled ginger in the ramen which wasn’t what I expect. The rest comes together ok.
Dream tea comes from a tea bag, light and decent.
Mochi dessert unfortunately didn’t save the day, I had the pecan and coffee flavour. It’s more like a fusion dessert, the filling doesn’t go well with sticky rice. A more fluid traditional red bean paste can work better.
I will be willing to try out their sushi dish, but not mochi or ramen again. #Veganuary
